What are the good ways to eat red dates?
Jujube is used by many people to replenish qi and blood, and there are many ways to eat it, such as raw, cooked and steamed. As for how to eat the most healthy jujube, I think it will vary from person to person, and different people eat in different ways:

1, ginger and red dates are cooked and eaten (suitable for people with spleen and kidney yang deficiency who are afraid of cold)

The body is afraid of cold, urine is long, and menstruation is irregular. You can try soaking ginger and red dates in water, which can not only warm the meridians and dispel cold, but also promote blood circulation and relieve pain, and make red dates enter the spleen and stomach meridians, enrich blood and enhance the body's immunity.

Practice: Boil 3 slices of ginger and 6 red dates (preferably red dates) in appropriate amount of water, and then turn to medium heat for 30 minutes.

2. Steamed red dates (suitable for the elderly)

Steamed jujube has a soft taste, which is very suitable for the elderly and helps to improve immunity, thus reducing the recurrence of asthma and chronic bronchitis.

Practice: 80 fresh red dates (or 50 dry red dates), washed. Put it in a steamer, add some water, put the red dates on the steamer, and steam for about 40 minutes on high fire until cooked. Take 3 ~ 5 tablets each time, twice a day.

3, jujube paste (suitable for insomnia)

Jujube has the function of invigorating spleen and calming nerves, and can be made into oral ointment with longan and lily to improve sleep.

Practice: 200 grams of red dates (thousands of products), 200 grams of longan meat, 30 grams of lily, and honey 100 ml.

Wash jujube, remove the core, wash longan and lily, and soak in warm water for 30 minutes. Put it in the same pot, add 1000 ml of water, boil it with strong fire, then simmer until the juice is collected, pour it into a blender and stir it into a paste, then pour it into the pot, add honey and wormwood with slow fire, stir while cooking until the water evaporates, turn off the fire and collect the paste for later use. Take 3 tablespoons before going to bed every night.

4. Jujube porridge: (suitable for patients with chronic gastritis)

We say that drinking porridge can nourish the stomach. For people with stomach problems, porridge is the best diet. It is best to cook porridge with red dates to strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach.

Practice: 50 grams of red dates (dried products) and 50 grams of millet. Peel and shred the red dates and wash the millet. Put aside the pot, add 1500 ml water, add millet first, soak for about 5 minutes, and then fire. When the fire boils, simmer it with slow fire. When the soup is thick, add shredded red dates and cook for about 3 minutes. Eat it every day or often.
