Nanguan is a place name in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, China. Nanguan is located along the Pearl River outside the city wall of Guangzhou New Town, namely Beijing South Road and Tianzi Wharf, including Jiang Yan Road, Zhuguang Road and Taipingsha. Nanguan used to be a bustling business district, especially the street where salt merchants concentrated, and it was also a place where wealthy businessmen lived together, with many teahouses.
