If it is bright red, match it with matt black leggings and high heels. Never wear high heels.

If it is dark red, wear reflective black leggings and high heels. Shoes must be red or black.

The best match is black boots to the calf, a small black dress and a twisted pure black wool scarf.

My experience is: red coat, except black, try not to appear a third color unless the coat is very thin. If you wear thick wool in winter, don't try to filter USB or any light-colored boots, it will look short and fat. I 1.63CM, five red coats, and experience for myself.
