The Chinese alligator is called "catfish" in China ancient books, and it is called "Dragon Map" and "Pig Polong" in its place of origin. It is an alligator living in fresh water. It was originally distributed widely, inhabiting lakes and swamps in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, reeds, bamboo forests and miscellaneous irrigation areas in hills and mountains. In the breeding and working areas, Siberian tigers, African lions, African cheetahs and rare white tigers are now raised, and there are 10 staff engaged in breeding, domestication and performance. The venue regularly performs wonderful beast performances every day, including lion and tiger, cheetah group dance and bear gymnastics. Since its completion, the venue, which is the national animal games, the African animal festival, the happy festival for people and animals, and the splendid celebration of the 10th anniversary garden, has brought countless thrilling and wonderful performances to tourists together with the Hundred Beasts Mountain Performance Hall, the Sea Lion Performance Hall and the Dog Running Field.

It is a national first-class protected animal, a legendary crane, a large wading bird living in swamps or shallow waters, and is often called the "God of Wetlands". Red-crowned cranes are omnivores. In spring, we eat grass seeds and crop seeds, but in summer, there are many kinds of food, including animal food. Alpaca garden
Alpaca Garden is located on the east side of Guanhe Building, covering an area of about 1.300 square meters, with nearly ten alpacas. The English name of Alpaca is alpaca, and the scientific name is Vicugna pacos. That is to say, the so-called net beast is small in size, with an adult height of 1.4 m and a weight of less than 100 kg, so it is only used to produce fibers without bearing; Hair is small and thin, very good; Animals that like to live in groups generally have leaders; Ears are not bent, straight and shorter than lamas; The back is a little bent and not suitable for carrying. The exhibition environment of 20 13 alpaca garden was redesigned, and the new exhibition area was displayed in an ecological interactive way, which was novel and unique. Leopard print area
The cheetah area is the second area where cars enter. The ecological environment is similar to the tropical semi-desert grassland in Africa, and a leopard from Africa is stocked.
A herd of cheetahs constitutes a huge cheetah herd in China. You can see the slender and streamlined figure of the cheetah at close range. The scene when it runs and sprints immediately reminds people of its heroic posture when it preys on prey in the African grassland. Moreover, when taking a leisurely walk on the grass, his well-thought-out attitude is amazing. Compared with other carnivorous beasts, the adult cheetah is small, but the cheetah can become the sprint champion in the animal kingdom at a speed of 80-113 km/h. In ancient times, cheetahs were often raised by nobles as hunting assistants. Cheetahs often run in the range of 400-500 meters, and lose speed and endurance after a long journey. The cheetahs in the cheetah area are raised in the form of populations, which increases the reproductive probability. Our garden used artificial feeding and "dog wet nurse" feeding, which created a rare record of 1 1 giving birth to only two cheetahs at home and abroad. There are more than 30 cheetahs in the cheetah area of the zoo. After entering the exhibition area, dense grass and hidden cheetahs will take tourists to distant African grasslands.
Shiziqu
The lion area is the third exhibition area to enter the drive-in area, where a group of fierce carnivores live on the African grassland. They live in groups of 1 men and women. African lions are the largest members of carnivores and cats. The male lion is strong and has a mane from beginning to end, while the female lion is smaller. Animals in the zoo are fed with live food to ensure that their wild viability will not deteriorate. When a lion preys, it is mostly the lioness who acts collectively and attacks at the same time. They usually bite their teeth in their throats and suffocate their prey. In the whole process, the lion seldom participated in the war, but he wanted to be the first to enjoy the prey. When the lion preys on live food, the scene is dangerous and exciting, leaving a deep memory for tourists. Lions have a strong sense of hierarchy. Lions often fight for the position of lion king. After the new lion king ascended the throne, he will kill the cubs of the former lion king and let the lioness give birth to offspring as soon as possible. African lions can breed all year round. There are 30 adult lions and 14 cubs in the lion area of this park. In the exhibition area, you can't see the cages of animals, there is no noise and pollution in the city, and there is no sense of depression in the cement forest, only lush green and quiet and fresh returning to nature. For every tourist, it is a journey full of fear and excitement to take the sightseeing bus into the jungle where Yuan Ye and carnivores roam freely. Entering the African lion exhibition area, the mighty image of the African lion immediately comes into view, and the male lion with dark brown mane on his neck and shoulders often has a frightening feeling.
Tiger area
Tiger area is the fifth automobile exhibition area to enter this area. Northeast tigers and South China tigers are raised separately. The planting structure of mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest in cold temperate zone and the structure of subtropical broad-leaved forest are adopted to simulate natural living conditions for greening planting, which provides basic conditions for ex-situ protection of tigers. Tigers are not good at climbing, but they are good at swimming and like taking a bath. Every time the tour bus passes by, the tiger waits to be fed with live food, and then quickly launches a surprise attack. Generally, a tiger can eat 17-27 kg of meat at a time, and a big tiger can eat 35 kg. Tigers are disciplined, and the top tiger is always the first tiger to catch its prey. The Northeast Tiger is the biggest tiger. Living in Xing 'anling, Changbai Mountain in the northeast of China and Siberia in Russia. South China Tiger, distributed in the south of the Yangtze River, is one of the rare and endangered animals in China. According to statistics, there are only 70 tigers left in South China, of which only 20 are wild. It is urgent to protect the South China tiger population and maintain the biodiversity of biological species. There are eight recognized tiger subspecies in the world: Li Haihu, Bali Tiger, Java Tiger, Northeast Tiger, Bengal Tiger, Southeast Asian Tiger, Sumatra Tiger and South China Tiger. There are 0/4 adult Siberian tigers, 0/4 adult South China tigers, 0/4 young tigers and 2 sub-adult Siberian tigers in the park. The exhibition area is made of dead wood, bark and rocks, making it "wild". The Northeast Tiger is magnificent. Known as the "king of the forest", he is withdrawn and likes to be alone. After the tourist vehicles enter the exhibition area, visitors can find the tigers in the grass sticking out their heads from time to time and staring at the tourist vehicles, as if they were ready at any time.
Xiongqu
The bear area is vast, covering an area of 5 hectares, with high bear hills and habitats. There are three kinds of pandas here: brown bear, black bear and Malay bear. In the bear area, bears have a keen sense of smell and hearing and poor eyesight. When the tour bus enters, brown bears and black bears will surround the driveway and beg for food from tourists. The scene is very interesting. Black bear has a crescent-shaped white spot on its chest. It loves honey and ants, and is good at climbing. It can climb trees and eat wild fruits. Brown bears are huge, with brown or dark brown hair and are not good at climbing trees. The loveliest thing in the bear area is the Malay bear. Malay bear, also known as Sun Bear, is black all over and has changeable white or orange U-shaped spots on its chest. Living in the dense primitive broad-leaved forest in tropical and subtropical areas of southern Yunnan, he is good at climbing trees. Malay bear is different from the other two kinds of bears. It is a bear that doesn't hibernate. Malays are few in number, and they are national first-class protected animals. There are 15 brown bears, 3 Malay bears and 15 black bears in the bear area of Shanghai Wildlife Park.
