In iOS 14 and newer systems, Apple has optimized the photo application. Users can organize photos and videos with new filtering and sorting options, and can easily browse more views of the photo application by opening and closing with two fingers.

Among them, the new sorting option allows users to view the album contents in the order from oldest to newest, and from newest to oldest, or to view the album contents completely in the selected custom order, making it easier to find the required content.

Use the new album sorting option on iPhone running iOS 14 and later:

Open the iPhone photo app, click the album button at the bottom, select an album and start sorting:

In the photo album, click on the top right corner of the screen, and then select Sort from the pop-up menu. You can choose a custom order, from oldest to newest or from newest to oldest.

If you want to customize the sorting, you can long press the photos in the album and then drag them to the desired position.

Please note that the default latest project album cannot be sorted.
