Waist bell dance is a Manchu folk dance, which originated from the early riding and shooting life of Manchu, and was performed by several men wearing bronze bells. By controlling the strength and speed of the waist, the dancers make the waist bell make different sounds, which echo the sound of the board and bell, making the dance more vivid and interesting. The waist bell is made of an iron plate with a diameter of about 5 cm, and two rings are embedded at both ends. There are three small copper bowls or iron balls hanging on each ring, which will make a very nice jingle when they are shaken during the March, commonly known as "drumming".
