Milan

A while ago, the temperature was repeated, so I didn't dare to trim Milan, for fear that it would not recover if it suddenly cooled down. Now that the temperature is above 15 degrees, I can start pruning Milan and prepare clean scissors (the blades are disinfected with carbendazim or alcohol in advance).

Milan's pruning is simple. Do not water before pruning 1-3 days. Just like shaving your head, cut it into the approximate shape you want. For example, my favorite round mushroom type is to cut the long branches short and shave them almost into a ball.

There are many miscellaneous branches in Milan. Cut off the weak branches that cross each other and keep the ventilation of the middle main pole. Cut the unwanted branches to only 0.5- 1 cm long. If you want the branches to keep growing new branches, leave more.

Don't water it for the time being after cutting, put it in an indoor astigmatism position for about 3 days, then water it after the wound heals, and don't get wet or soaked for the time being. After half a month, you can use nutrient solution, Hua Duo Duo 1 or Oulu No.5, choose one to use.

Pruning Milan in May will restore quickly, but it should be noted that the new branches are sometimes uneven. If the new branches are too thin, they can be cut short to prevent them from overgrowth or deformation. Control the shape of the round mushroom, increase the light, and can be outdoors.

With this fertilization and sunshine, Milan will bloom around June (stop fertilization after budding), and the number of flowers is several times more than before. Almost every branch has buds and smells good.

Chinese rose

The Chinese rose in May basically blooms for the first time. After this flowering, it should be cut off in advance, so as to preserve nutrition and make the second flowering faster and better.

First, cut off the residual flowers. The first rose can be cut when the flower pattern is normal, and it can also be inserted into a water bottle for viewing, and it can also preserve nutrition for the mother plant of the rose.

The cutting method of vine rose should be tough, and the branches with multiple flower buds should be cut off in time after each flower opens, and then cut off from the bottom of branches with more than 3-5 leaves after all the flower buds open; After the single flower is completed, 3-5 leaves are directly from the bottom.

The cutting method is generally 45 oblique cutting at the bud point (above the leaf). Don't leave too much, don't cut too hard, and leave too little. The rightmost cut in the picture below is the right, and the length is moderate.

In addition to cutting residual flowers, we should also cut some branchlets and blind branches. Branchlets are thin and irregular branches that we can cut directly. There is only one leaf at the top of the blind shoot, there is no bud point, and there will be no more flower buds in the later stage.

After pruning 1-3 days, the wound is slightly dry, so you can water it (add carbendazim to the water), apply fertilizer one week later, or bury 2-3 handfuls of cooked sheep manure along the basin edge. It is not advisable to put fertilizer and thick fertilizer. If the flowerpot is too small, you can simply change it to a bigger one. Don't cut off the roots. It is safer to exchange the original soil.

pelargonium

Raising geraniums in May is a bit like walking on thin ice. In many areas, the occasional high temperature can exceed 30 degrees, which is very dangerous for Xiaotian. When it is hot, it will be prone to black rot and need pruning and slimming.

Many angry people are still in a state of bared teeth. If there are too many flowers in full bloom, first cut off the residual flowers together with the flower stems, and the knives must be disinfected, otherwise bacterial infection will lead to black rot and yellow incision.

In addition to cutting off the residual flowers, we should also cut off the branches that are too dense (leaving the strong ones weak), keep the plants ventilated and fresh, and pinch off the old yellow leaves that should be sparse ... In fact, this is a simple change from complex to simple, so be careful not to prune them too much.

Pruned branches can also be cut into backs with sand, placed in a ventilated place, and watered after the wound is dry. The weather is hot, pay attention to shade, water in the morning or at night, don't water too much, like dry.

Not all geraniums will start to spend the summer after pruning. If the environment is suitable, such as the cool and scattered places in Northeast China, Xiaotian may continue to grow and blossom. You can sprinkle some No.5 fertilizer in the pot to provide nutrition for flowering.

Phyllanthus

Bougainvillea blooms without leaves. If there are too few flowers at home, or even no flowers at all, try pruning and urging flowers.

If bougainvillea is just crazy long leaves and the branches are long and thin, the simplest thing is pruning, thinning dense branches and shortening long branches, especially bougainvillea planted indoors, and cutting as much as possible.

Both old and new bougainvillea branches will bloom, and some old bougainvillea branches may bloom more. Cut the branches short and keep each branch with enough light, so as to ensure that they all bloom. Don't cut the leaves before watering them. Water the leaves whenever they droop.

This maintains the state of water control. When it is found that there are small buds near the bottom of leaves or new buds at the top (the flower buds are multi-headed, and the leaf buds are generally opposite), stop water control and start normal watering. When the soil is dry, it will be watered in time to ensure that the flowers are full.

In addition to pruning those flowers that don't bloom, if you think the flowers are not ideal, you can also cut them, such as the one below, which is irregular. Pruning is very simple, that is, cutting the prominent branches short to make the whole more harmonious.

Control the water after cutting, or spend more than 2 flowers when watering, and soon the old pile will be full of flowers. Bougainvillea is very active. If you don't prune and apply pressure, it will grow loose and the flowers will be denser after pruning. Practice more and you'll find the feeling.

Anjyou Naruko

One is called Qiuhua, which is bought at the flower market in spring, and it turns yellow after flowering. Many people keep it here and feel like throwing it away. Actually, you can keep driving after a cut.

In fact, it is to cut off the bad part and the yellow part, leaving only the solid part at the bottom. Don't water after cutting, pay attention to ventilation, water along the edge of the pot after about 2-3 days, and new leaves will appear soon.

Chrysanthemums are mostly overgrown with weeds. After cutting, not only new leaves will appear, but also more foot buds will grow. After cutting for half a month, you can sprinkle some slow-release fertilizers on the surface of the pot. After 1 month, you can pour quick-acting fertilizers, such as flowers and nutrient solutions, every 10 day, and buds will appear soon.

After the buds grow out, gradually increase the light, and you can also apply fertilizer in the early stage, but it should be lighter, otherwise it will burn the buds.

When the flower buds develop color, stop fertilization immediately, keep the light and wait for the flower buds to bloom.

In this way, the effect of the flower market can also be cultivated at home, isn't it amazing? All kinds of men named Qiu Hua, medal chrysanthemum, table tennis chrysanthemum, thousand-headed chrysanthemum, millet chrysanthemum and Ji Xiaoju can all operate according to this method ~

Petunia

Don't dislike Petunia, and don't want children to catch wolves. Petunia must be pruned more. Don't covet the first crop of flowers. Cut off too few flowers directly, and the second crop of flowers will start to burst.

If you think there are few flowers in the first crop, cut them directly from the floor cloth of 1/3. Many flower lovers are reluctant to part with it. Be mentally prepared. Take a deep breath and put on a pair of scissors, and you will become more and more addicted.

It looks like the picture below after cutting. There are only a few thick stems left. Don't water it for the time being after cutting. /kloc-water them after 0/-2 days, and water them along the edge of the pot, and new buds will appear soon.

After cutting for about half a month, the basic buds will grow out. At this time, you can sprinkle some slow-release fertilizers. Beginners should not pour quick-acting fertilizer, there is a risk of burning seedlings. After 20-40 days, the flowering period of the second crop will be ten times that of the first crop.

Pruning should be continued after the second crop. At the same time, too long and messy branches should be cut short. Petunia is very resistant to pruning and can only survive if it leaves the pole.

After repeated pruning in this way, the third to fourth time is the state of explosion. Petunia can bloom in autumn and winter, and will continue to bloom in winter above 15 degrees. By the way, the cut branches can also be cut, and it is easy to become a big family ~

crazy

Rhododendrons will bloom in spring, especially the small rhododendrons we often buy, mostly western rhododendrons, which can bloom in many seasons and will continue to sprout after each cut.

But there are tricks to pruning after azaleas. The recovery period after pruning is long, and cutting is not enough. Look carefully at the picture below. If only the residual flowers are removed and the flower stalks are kept, rhododendrons may continue to consume nutrients and develop seeds (no reproductive ability).

So it's best to cut off the azaleas together with the flower stalks, and don't cut off the top leaves and branches. Rhododendrons all sprout buds at the top, so that they will recover quickly after cutting and germinate again soon under the condition of adequate nutrition.

After cutting, don't water it for a while, about 2-3 days, and then water it when it is slightly dry. In addition to cutting residual flowers, if there are cross-growing and interacting branches, they can also be thinned and ventilated. Then the temperature rises, which is necessary.

Rhododendrons also like light, but they can't be exposed to strong light for a long time, especially in hot weather. If it is higher than 28 degrees, you should pay attention to shading. 2-3 hours in the morning is enough, and the environment is suitable. Rhododendrons can also bloom in multiple seasons.

fuchsia

The upside-down admiralty also needs pruning from time to time. Pruning will make it grow more luxuriantly, and control the branches not to grow too long, so that the plants will be stronger and less likely to wither.

When the upside-down golden bell blooms, or does not bloom for a long time, the top branch of13 can be cut off, and the scissors must be disinfected in advance, otherwise the wound is prone to black rot. Don't water it temporarily after cutting, ventilate it more, and water it after drying.

The upside-down golden bell is a short-day flower, which likes warmth and is afraid of sultry weather. It is best to put it on the window sill with astigmatism, and the temperature is between 15-26 degrees. New branches will sprout soon. Fertilization can begin around 1 month after cutting. If the temperature is not suitable, fertilization cannot be carried out.

The temperature is between 15-26 degrees, and the flowers can continue to bloom after being cut upside down. If it is too hot or too cold, it may slow down growth. At present, the temperature varies greatly all over the country, so you'd better adjust and maintain it according to the local climate.

If the temperature is too high, higher than 28 degrees, it should be trimmed and shaded. Move to the north window sill for ventilation. Cut off the long and dry branches in time. After cutting, sprinkle some carbendazim with black rotten water and put a basin of water next to it for humidification.

If you are worried that you will die in summer, you'd better cut more branches and use clean vermiculite or perlite with sand. Cutting is easier to spend the summer. Every time you cut down more than a dozen trees, a few trees will survive. Be prepared ~
