Introduction of Yuncheng Nursing Vocational College Yuncheng Nursing Vocational College was approved by Shanxi Provincial People's Government on 201kloc-0/0 and established by the Ministry of Education. It is a general higher medical vocational college organized by Yuncheng Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was Yuncheng District Health School founded in 1970. The college is located in Salt Lake District, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, an ancient salt lake city with a long history and rich humanities in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan "Yellow River Golden Triangle". The college covers an area of 380 mu, with a building area of1.2000 square meters. It is adjacent to Shundi Mausoleum scenic spot in the west and Yuncheng College in the east, with superior geographical location, convenient transportation and beautiful environment.
There are 300 faculty members in the college, including 226 full-time teachers, "double-qualified" teachers 130, 46 teachers with senior titles, 68 graduate students, national vocational education teachers 1 person, 7 provincial academic leaders, 4 provincial backbone teachers, and 15 directors of various academic organizations inside and outside the province. The college attaches great importance to teaching research and reform. Since 2000, it has obtained 7 teaching and scientific research achievements at or above the provincial level. Teachers have published more than 300 papers in magazines above the provincial level, edited 35 textbooks and published monographs 15. The college has more than 6,000 full-time students, with an annual enrollment of 2,000. Students are distributed in 14 provinces (cities and autonomous regions).
At present, the college has set up nine higher vocational majors, such as stomatology, nursing, midwifery, stomatology technology, medical examination technology, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation treatment technology, optometry technology, acupuncture and massage, etc., forming a school-running pattern with nursing education and stomatology education as the mainstay, supplemented by medical technology education, and actively developing clinical medicine specialty construction. Nursing specialty is a national training base for talents in short supply and a training base for higher vocational education in Shanxi Province. Nursing and rehabilitation technology specialty is the key construction specialty of higher vocational education in Shanxi Province, and medical laboratory technology and medical imaging technology specialty are the training bases of higher vocational education in Shanxi Province.
The college has a teaching building, a training building, a library building, a student apartment, a multifunctional restaurant and an auditorium with perfect functions, reasonable structure and advanced facilities, which provides a beautiful environment for teachers and students to work, study and live. There are more than 70 experimental training rooms in nursing, stomatology, anatomy, chemistry, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, biochemistry, internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics, as well as microcomputer room, multimedia classroom and comprehensive skills training room. The library has more than 240,000 books.
The college has a 400-bed secondary qualification affiliated hospital, and has established more than 60 teaching hospitals and practice bases in Yuncheng counties (cities, districts), large factories and mines hospitals, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other places. Adhere to the development of industry and regional economy, actively explore the talent training mode of school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and teaching, take professional posts as the goal, build a professional curriculum system with ability training as the core, and promote the teaching reform of project teaching, task-driven and "integration of teaching and learning". The College also established Yuncheng Medical and Health Vocational Education Group in conjunction with 22 medical institutions, enterprises and colleges.
