How to practice yoga pigeon king style well
One-legged pigeon pose, also known as one-legged pigeon king pose, is one of the common yoga poses. It is a deep backward posture, and the maximum expansion of the chest makes the practitioner look like a pigeon. Through the study of this movement, you can stretch thighs, groin and psoas, abdomen, chest, shoulders and neck, stimulate abdominal organs, and open shoulders and chest.

Methods/steps

1

Sit on your side with your right knee bent and your heel close to the perineum. Keep your left leg straight back, your chest behind the ground, your hands on your sides and your palms on the ground (see Figure ①).

2

Bend your left calf, inhale, raise your arm, put your head in your hands, grab your left toe with your fingers, and tilt your head back. Breathe normally and keep this action for 10 second (see Figure ②). So is the other side.
