Commonly used acupoints for special moxibustion:
Taichong point
(1) Thrust. That's right. Go, go, shoot. The name of the acupoint means that the moisture in the liver meridian rushes up here. The material of this point comes from the humid atmosphere of Zijian point, and it is named after the sudden wind spreading outside the point due to thermal expansion and dispersion. Dachong is synonymous with this point.
(2) Liver meridian Shu. I lost. The substance of this point is the atmosphere with thermal expansion, which exists here in the form of output, so it is the Shu point of the liver meridian.
(3) Taichong point belongs to soil. Belonging to the soil refers to the five-element attribute shown by the change of qi and blood operation at Taichong point. The substance of this acupoint is moisture in Xingjian acupoint. After reaching this acupoint, it swells and disperses due to heat absorption, causing flatulence and heat, showing the characteristics of hot temper, so it belongs to soil.
Hegu point
(1) Hegu. Together, together, together. Valley, the gap between two mountains. The name Hegu means that the qi and blood of the large intestine meridian converge here to form a powerful wind field of water and humidity. The material of this point is water, wet clouds and gas from the celestial sphere of Sanjian point. After going to this point, due to the large gap between the first metacarpal bone and the second metacarpal bone on the back of this point, the qi and blood from Sanjian point converge at this point, and the converged qi forms a powerful water-wet cloud gas field, hence the name Hegu.
(2) escape. Tiger, shady wood in gossip, wind. Mouth, the place to go in and out. The name of tiger's mouth means that the movement form of qi and blood substances at acupoints is the lateral movement of wind wood.
③ Gu Rong. Tolerance, tolerance, tolerance also. Valley, the gap between two mountains. Gu Rong's name means that all the qi and blood substances in the three acupoints are contained and gathered in this acupoint.
(4) Bone healing. Together, together, together. Bone, water. The essence of this point is the confluence of water and wet gas of the three points, which is located in the sky. Its shape is cloud and rich in water and wet, so it is named Hegu.
(5) mouth. Tolerance, tolerance, tolerance. The mouth, spleen and stomach also belong. Including the name of the mouth, it means that the qi and blood substances in this point have the characteristics of long-term nourishment of spleen and soil. The material at this point is the humid air in the sky coming from the three caves, and it also comes from this point in the form of horizontal transmission. However, due to its warm nature, some moisture gasified and went to heaven, showing the characteristics of long-term nourishment of spleen soil, so it was named as mouth-containing.
(6) The original point of the large intestine meridian. The substance of this point is composed of water, dampness, cloud and qi from three points, which is warm in nature, large in quantity and wide in scope, and can play the role of tonifying qi and blood in the whole meridian of the large intestine, so it is the original point of the large intestine meridian.
Facial acupoints were treated with Ai Zhenhao-Zan moxibustion. The time of facial moxibustion is about 5- 10 minutes each time, other acupoints are 15-20 minutes, and moxibustion is 1-2 times a day. Long-term moxibustion at Taichong, Hegu and Xue Hai points can regulate the detoxification of human body.
