The Health Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a professional institution directly under the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine engaged in theoretical research, technology development and consulting services, product development, technology promotion, professional training and popular science propaganda. It is the only window for Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine to cooperate and communicate with other countries in the field of health care. The center was established in 2009, and its office is located in the main compound of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, No.6, Neinan Street, Dongzhimen, Beijing. At present, the Health Care Research Center has been approved by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Health Care Services, and has been identified as the lead unit of the Working Group on General Standards of Health Care Services to carry out the formulation of general standards of health care services.
