Different prescription are given according to different time of menstrual cycle:
1. Prescription taken five days before menstruation: Ligusticum chuanxiong, Bupleurum chinense, Ligustrum lucidum, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Morinda officinalis, Lycium barbarum and Angelica sinensis 10g, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata 12g, Herba Epimedii 15g and Semen Cuscutae 20g.
2. Menstrual prescription, taken on the first day of menstruation: Achyranthes bidentata, Cyperus rotundus, Eupatorium adenophorum, Bupleurum chinense each 10g, Ligusticum chuanxiong and Angelica sinensis each 12g, Spatholobus suberectus 15g, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata 20g and Leonurus heterophyllus 30g.
3. After the late prescription, take it from the sixth day of menstruation: Angelica sinensis, Schisandra chinensis, Cornus officinalis, Rubus, Placenta Hominis each 10g, Cuscuta chinensis 12g, Dioscorea opposita 20g, Radix Rehmanniae 20g and Fructus Crataegi 30g.
4. Prescriptions taken in the middle period of menstruation: Ligustrum lucidum, Cyperus rotundus, Angelica sinensis, Bupleurum chinense, Ruby 10g, Rhizoma Curculiginis, Lycium barbarum 15g, Semen Cuscutae and Herba Epimedii 20g.
The above traditional Chinese medicine decoction 1 day. Take it continuously for 5 days. It is suggested that endocrine patients consult a doctor before taking traditional Chinese medicine.
