The spring scenery is good in March, and the cauliflower in Chen Tuan's hometown is yellow. Tongnan County has held three cauliflower festivals and Red Sorghum Festival successively. Relying on the exquisite and boundless rape sea and the beautiful scenery of Qiongjiang River, Tongnan County has successfully ranked among the most beautiful rape sea in China and was named as "Top Ten Spring Tourism Destinations in Chongqing".
Chongkan cauliflower scenic spot has become a good place for millions of citizens to go to the countryside and a dam in Chongqing and Chengdu, showing the magic of transforming traditional farming civilization into modern civilization, and creating the comprehensive effects of "a small cauliflower, inciting great development" and "a piece of red sorghum, reflecting red and new Tongnan".
One statue: Chongkan Town, Chen Tuan, is the hometown of Chen Tuan, the ancestor of Taoism in the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty. This cauliflower festival highlights the essence of Chen Tuan's cultural strategy of governing the country and keeping fit, and invites a team of well-known experts from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts to design and build a statue of Chen Tuan, the ancestor of Taoism in Chongkan Town, which is 36.9 meters high. Visitors can enter the inside of the statue, climb the stairs and reach the observation deck of Chentuan, where they can overlook the spectacular 10,000-acre cauliflower landscape.
One Town: Taiji Ancient Town builds Taiji Ancient Town according to Taoist style, and newly builds retro buildings such as entrance archway, wind and rain covered bridge, seven-story watchtower and pool fence. It shows the powerful charm of Taoist culture and fully embodies the characteristics of "learning from nature first". The wind and rain covered bridge built on the Chongkan Reservoir Bridge is simple and elegant, lying across the Qiongjiang River, with a total length of123m, a width of 5m and a span of ***48. Visitors can go sightseeing on the covered bridge or take photos for leisure.
