When will there be a bright moon?

[Song] Su Shi

Chen Bing Mid-Autumn Festival, drinking as drunk as a fiddler, wrote this article. Pregnant.

When is the bright moon,

I take my glass from a distance. ?

I don't know the palace in heaven,

What year is tonight? ?

I want to go home in the wind,

Afraid of Qionglou Yuyu again?

It's too cold up there. ?

Dance to see the shadows,

What is it like! ?

Zhuge,

Low-level families,

Take a sleepless photo. ?

There should be no hatred,

Why should it be different? ?

People have joys and sorrows,

The moon is full of rain and sunshine.

This matter is ancient and difficult to complete. ?

Wish people a long time,

Thousands of miles * * * ChanJuan.

Translation:

On the Mid-Autumn Festival in Chen Bing, I drank happily until the next morning, got drunk, wrote this word, and missed my brother Su Zhe.

When did the bright moon begin to appear? I raised my glass and asked the distant sky. I don't know the date of the palace in heaven. I want to ride the breeze back to the sky, but I'm afraid that the buildings built by Meiyu can't stand the cold of nine days. Dancing under the moon and enjoying the clear shadows is not like on the earth.

The moon revolves around the scarlet pavilion, hanging low on the carved window, shining on the sleepy self. Mingyue shouldn't have any resentment against people. Why is it round when people are gone? People have joys and sorrows, and the moon is full of ups and downs. This kind of thing has been difficult to be comprehensive since ancient times. I only hope that all the relatives in this world can be safe and healthy, and even if they are thousands of miles apart, they can enjoy this beautiful moonlight.

Extended data

The bright moon is the favorite metaphor used by scholars. For example, Li Bai mentioned in his poem that "I am worried about the bright moon, and I will go with the wind until the west", which reflected Li Bai's sadness at that time; Liu Yong mentioned in his poem that "where the wine wakes up tonight, there is a faint wind on the bank of willow", and the moon witnessed Liu Yong's poverty.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival in Xining, Song Shenzong, the great writer Su Shi wrote a famous poem "Water Tune Song Tou". At that time, he was in a state of being an official in various places, living alone in a different place on the night of Mid-Autumn Festival and unable to reunite with his relatives, which reflected Su Shi's feelings of missing his relatives.

At the beginning of the word, it says, "When will there be a bright moon? Ask the sky for wine. " This wine asks heaven, and the preface of the word is "drunk, drunk." It has played an echo effect. Su Shi likes drinking very much, which is often shown in his poems. He once said, "I have something good in my chest that I can draw at once."

In other words, wine can paralyze people's feelings and play a role in drowning their worries. And the bright moon here is not an ordinary bright moon, but the Mid-Autumn Festival. People are not normal people, but drunk people. Su Shi brought this situation in from the beginning, expressing his extraordinary boldness of vision in raising a glass to ask for heaven on the night of Mid-Autumn Festival.

The next question, "I don't know the heavenly palace, what year is tonight", is the content to be asked in "Asking Heaven for Wine", which goes further in the pursuit and praise of the bright moon. Su Shi wanted to take the wind to see the Moon Palace, but he was afraid that the atmosphere there was too bleak to resist the biting cold.

Returning with the Wind shows Su Shi's dissatisfaction with the world, and Returning seems to show that he was originally from the Moon Palace, but only lived in the world for a while.

"Dancing for shadows is like being on the earth?" Very closely related to the above, the author dances in the moonlight and the shadow swings with it. This is a turning point. From being tired of the world to liking it, ups and downs are reasonable.

In the process of enjoying the moon, the poem Xiaque expresses Su Shi's feelings of missing his loved ones. "Turn Zhuge to make the house low" is due to the rotation of the bright moon, and the shape of the shadow has changed. This must be the result of long-term observation, echoing the next sentence "Take sleepless photos".

Sleepless nights correspond to enjoying the moon, which leads to the grief that the author can't reunite with his relatives, thus leading to the author's sleepless nights. After the emotion of missing relatives became the theme, the author's feelings about Mid-Autumn Festival also changed to a certain extent, which played an empathetic role.

The following "there should be no hate, why leave the moon at another time?" It is no longer a description, but the lyricism of the author. In A Brief Interpretation of Poems in Tang and Song Dynasties, Tang Guizhang mentioned that the full moon described in two poems should not be round, expressing the author's dissatisfaction with the bright moon, while three poems in Others changed the subject again, lamenting the impermanence of the world, reflecting the author's understanding of the bright moon.

The analysis and explanation here are very accurate. Relatives can't get together, which has little to do with the bright moon, because of the bright moon. In this word, "circle" includes two meanings: one is that the shape of the bright moon is round, and the other is that the circle of the bright moon causes family reunion.

Under the double meanings of full moon and full moon, it embodies the author's feeling that the full moon is not round, and it is precisely because of this turning point that the author's dissatisfaction with the bright moon has a basis, which fully reflects the author's feelings of missing relatives.

Later, the author defended the bright moon, which was actually the author's self-comfort. However, the author's comfort is irrational, and he still associates the sunny feelings of the bright moon with people's joys and sorrows, thinking that there is a positive correlation between them, but in fact this positive correlation is irrational and only caused by the author's own emotional logic.

Moreover, this is not only a discussion, but also a lyric. At the end of the word, lyricism and intention are combined. "I hope that people will live for a long time and have a good scenery for thousands of miles." In other words, since we can't have the best of both worlds, we can only look at the world with an open mind. As long as people's feelings last for a long time, as long as they can look at the same moon, even if they can't get together, it is very beautiful.

In fact, this is the gathering of the author's feelings. From the dissatisfaction with the bright moon to the final change of feelings, one of them is relaxed and the rhythm is very orderly, which expresses the author's feelings incisively and vividly.

To sum up, Su Shi's thoughts combined the thoughts of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, which made Su Shi develop an open-minded character under the thought of Buddhism seeing through and indifferent to fame and fortune, while the thought of Taoism's birth and health preservation made Su Shi live fresh and elegant after being relegated.

Therefore, he had an epiphany on the emotion that "people have joys and sorrows, and the moon is full of ups and downs", and encouraged himself to stick to his own thoughts and become a clean stream among ancient poets.
