Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, is a national key college of traditional Chinese medicine, a college of traditional Chinese medicine approved by Shandong Provincial People's Government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine, a famous school with characteristics of cultivating applied basic talents in Shandong Province, and an excellent school for undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education.

Before going to school, it was the research class of Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine founded by 1955 and the Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine founded by 1956. 1958, Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Committee. 1996, renamed Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the approval of the State Education Commission.

As of February 2022, the school has three campuses, with a total area of 2,039 mu and a construction area of 560,000 square meters. The library has 2.089 million books, 7.865438+0 million electronic books and nearly 30,000 rare books.
