The first chapter is an overview.
Section 1 Medicine
Now medicine is based on the "biomedical model" and is divided into traditional medicine and western medicine developed in modern times.
Chinese medicine, the traditional medicine of China, was formed in China thousands of years ago. It is a unique theoretical system of medical philosophy based on the concept of "functional person" including functional organs, people's long-term experience in fighting diseases, and the differentiation of eight categories of viscera, yin and yang, five elements, and using simple dialectics and speculative reasoning methods. In terms of treatment, besides drugs, there are special therapies such as acupuncture, massage qigong and ear acupuncture, which is a relatively perfect medical theoretical system in traditional medicine in the world. It has made great contributions to human health and national reproduction, especially in China.
Western medicine is a new modern medical theoretical system based on anatomy, biology and modern science and technology in recent 300-400 years, with the concept of "dissecting human and physical human". Mainly using scientific experimental methods, from macro to micro, until the current molecular gene level, it has developed extremely rapidly, surpassing any other medical science and becoming the mainstream in the world medical history.
It can be seen that Chinese and western medicine, one is a unique theoretical system of philosophical medicine with the concept of "functional man", and the other is a new theoretical system of modern medicine with the concept of "dissecting man and physical man". Neither of them is a science with integrity as its research object. Theoretically, both of them are incomplete, which will inevitably affect their respective development. Facts have also proved that all this, Chinese medicine has been stagnant for a long time, and the curative effect is not necessarily. Although western medicine has developed to the present molecular level, the incidence of diseases is still high, and the etiology and pathogenesis of most diseases are unclear, so the treatment is limited. In the face of mild SARS and bird flu, there is nothing to do, but in the face of diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, uremia and many other diseases, we have to ask for help or use Chinese medicine for treatment. One is that the curative effect is uncertain, and the other is that some or even quite a few diseases cannot be treated, which is the reason for the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine. But because they are two sets of theories and two cars running on the road, there is no possibility of combination in theory, just a formal integration. Therefore, western medicine has to turn to Chinese medicine for help for intractable diseases, and Chinese medicine often adopts western medicine diagnosis, Chinese medicine treatment and combination of Chinese and western medicine therapy.
In a word, all kinds of medicine in the world, which is dominated by traditional Chinese and western medicine, have the defect of incompleteness, that is, they all take incomplete people as the research objects, so they can't solve all the difficult and vague problems existing in traditional Chinese and western medicine at present, and become the fetters that hinder medical progress. Indeed, it is obviously beyond the scope of Chinese and Western medicine to solve all the difficult and vague problems existing in Chinese and Western medicine. We must jump out of the theoretical framework of traditional Chinese and western medicine and establish a new medical theoretical system-the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine (that is, western medicine) to form nutritional medicine. All the problems involved in this system are far beyond the existing theories of traditional Chinese and western medicine in breadth and depth, and the existing theories of traditional Chinese and western medicine should be incorporated into their own theoretical framework.
Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine can be combined, and their combination point is nutritional medicine. Today, the development of western medicine has deviated from the development direction of natural laws that it should follow, and various so-called new specific drugs emerge one after another in clinic, but not many diseases can be cured. Is this disease really so difficult to treat? No, it's because I didn't follow the right direction. If the treatment is in the right direction, almost all diseases in our body can be cured, including coronary heart disease and diabetes, which are considered as "incurable diseases". And this correct direction is nutritional medicine.
If western medicine wants to go in the right direction, it must return to the track of nutritional medicine, while if Chinese medicine wants to have great development, it must also go the way of nutritional medicine, so that Chinese and western medicine can be combined, and their combination point is nutritional medicine.
Section 2 Nutrition Medicine
With the development of science and technology and the improvement of living standards, many civilized diseases have appeared. Since the new century, all kinds of chronic diseases have ravaged the world, getting worse and worse, even exceeding the catch-up degree of "rapidly developing" medicine, which not only brings pain to patients, but also causes serious social problems.
The fundamental problem lies in cell nutrition and metabolism.
The United States Senate first paid attention to this phenomenon, and in 1975, it established a "Special Committee on Nutrition", which brought together elites from various fields of human biological sciences in the United States for in-depth investigation and discussion. The theme is "Nutrition and Substance Necessary for Human Beings". After two years of research and investigation, the Committee published a report of more than 5,000 pages, which shocked the medical and nutritional circles in the United States and internationally. The report wrote: "... modern chronic diseases are actually diseases with abnormal metabolism (damage), which is caused by imbalance of nutrition and metabolism. For this imbalance, we can't treat it with bacteria because it is a disease caused by the qualitative change of the body itself. "
In the past, the nutrition problem was mainly insufficient calories, but now the disease problem is completely unbalanced nutrition or malnutrition. In the past, medicine completely ignored the relationship between diet and disease. This neglect of the fundamental problem can be said to be a medicine with only one eye. For example, in American medical schools, only 4% of people take nutrition courses as compulsory courses; As high as 25% to 50% of hospitals, the diet provided to inpatients is nutritionally wrong, so there are many cases where diseases are not cured or delayed. Because the unique and biased thinking line dominated the medical field in the 20th century, this medical concept of "rejecting bacteria and abusing antibiotics" will only produce doctors who have no knowledge of nutrition and face the threat of "super bacteria". China is a big country that uses and produces antibiotics: the annual output of antibiotic raw materials is about 2 10000 tons, 30,000 tons are exported, and the rest are for personal use (including medical and agricultural use), and the annual per capita consumption is about 138g (only 13g in the United States).
The results of national bacterial drug resistance monitoring by the Ministry of Health in 2006-2007 showed that the annual utilization rate of antibacterial drugs in hospitals nationwide was as high as 74%. No country in the world uses antibiotics on such a large scale. In developed countries such as the United States and Britain, the utilization rate of antibiotics in hospitals is only 22%-25%. Obstetrics and gynecology in China has long been the hardest hit area of antibiotic abuse. According to the statistics of obstetrics and gynecology in Changning District Central Hospital, the drug resistance of penicillin is almost 100%. In China, the utilization rate of antibiotics is as high as 70%, among which almost all surgical patients use antibiotics, accounting for 97%.
According to 1995-2007 disease classification survey, infectious diseases account for 49% of all diseases in China, among which bacterial infection accounts for 18%-2 1% of all diseases, that is to say, more than 80% of them are antibiotic abuse, and 80,000 people die every year. These figures make China one of the countries with the most serious abuse of antibiotics in the world.
Regrettably, the medical community not only failed to realize its one-sidedness, but also considered it to be a very advanced modern medicine, so that it often grasped only one side of the disease rather than the whole. Dr. Reza, president of the American Society of Molecular Orthodontics, said: "In the past, medicine only used drugs to suppress diseases, which was a means to deceive the world; In fact, as long as the human cell ecology is good and the nutrition is normal and balanced, it will basically not get sick. " Obviously, what we should consider in the future is the "nutrition" and "metabolism" of "cells", which is the latest medicine of mankind-nutritional medicine.
Nutritional medicine is a relatively new knowledge, which combines traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine and clinical nutrition, and studies the relationship between nutrients and disease prevention and treatment. Nutritional medicine is a comprehensive subject with interdisciplinary fields, which is produced by the development of modern medicine, cell biology, biochemistry, nutrition, TCM health preservation and other disciplines to a new stage. It is not only theoretical, but also closely combined with medical practice. In this field, medicine and nutrition are highly dialectical and unified, and nutritional medicine is a very important emerging discipline in the treatment of diseases now and even in the future. It is bound to usher in a revolution in the medical field.
Nutritional medicine emphasizes holistic medicine, preventive medicine, radical medicine and health preservation. There are good countermeasures and effects for difficult diseases, chronic diseases and even intractable diseases that many western doctors generally think. Through more than ten years of clinical practice, there are tens of thousands of patients and many intractable diseases recognized by western medicine, which show extraordinary curative effect and confirm the correctness of this new theory.
The theory and practice of nutritional medicine can not only understand the physiology and pathology of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine at the same time, but also open up new ideas for deeply understanding the mystery of traditional Chinese medicine. Inspired by the new theories and discoveries of nutritional medicine, most diseases that cannot be explained by modern medicine or were considered incurable in the past have been satisfactorily explained and feasible treatment methods have been found. It foreshadows a new way out for the current medical dilemma and brings new hope for human health and disease prevention in the future.
According to the theory of nutritional medicine, the essence of disease is the process of human cells being damaged, and the process of treatment is actually the process of repairing damaged cells. Therefore, a cell's balanced nutrition can prevent diseases; Lack of a nutrient can lead to disease. The movement and renewal of nutrients is the fundamental method to restore the function of human cells. Because of their movement, they hit the surrounding cells, thus supplementing cell nutrition, activating and improving cell vitality. Therefore, in order to restore the function of cells, it is necessary to supplement balanced nutrition in time to activate cells, improve the internal and external environment of cells and change the concentration and pressure of surrounding nutrients. The movement law of nutrition in human body is that high pressure moves to low pressure, and high concentration evacuates to low concentration. Characteristics of nutrition operation: Extracellular nutrition increases and intracellular substances decrease. In the ascending and descending operation, the collision between cells and nutrients is one of the driving forces of cell movement.
The space in the human body is the place where cells move and nutrition is regulated. Only when these spaces are pure and the nutrient circulation is smooth can the human body return to nature and restore and maintain health. The movement of cells is closely related to the surrounding environment, and the pressure in the surrounding space and the change of nutrient concentration directly affect the opening and closing and radiation of cells. The higher the nutrient concentration in the surrounding space, the greater the pressure, and the more substances accumulated in cells, which is called stagnation of qi and blood in traditional Chinese medicine, which is the main factor causing cell dysfunction. The cause of visceral diseases is that materials and nutrients cannot be evacuated, which leads to stagnation, that is, qi and blood are blocked and diseases are formed.
Nutrition is the material basis of life, and it is also the guarantee of treating diseases, health and longevity. "Medicine and food are homologous, medicine and food are homologous", which shows that the results of nutrition and medicine are similar. Reasonable and balanced nutrition can improve the human body's ability to prevent diseases, reduce complications and promote the rehabilitation of diseases. Today, with the transformation of medical model, the therapeutic effect of nutrition is becoming more and more important. Scientific, reasonable, timely and balanced nutritional therapy is an important part of clinical comprehensive treatment, which plays a decisive role in improving clinical treatment level and restoring tissue and cell function.
