If it is femoral shaft necrosis, it is usually caused by nonunion after injury and fracture. This condition usually requires surgery. After surgical incision, take out the necrotic dead bone inside, and then implant autologous cancellous bone to let the bone grow slowly.
If it is femoral head necrosis, it is generally aseptic femoral head necrosis or femoral neck fracture caused by trauma, which leads to nonunion and femoral head necrosis.
In both cases, the problem can be solved by artificial hip replacement or artificial femoral head replacement. Usually, after replacement, when the wound is stable, you can actually start walking with a walker within one week of operation, and the recovery is better.
