From 20 18, the health manager has passed the certification of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the certification of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and has become the franchise certificate of the health industry. Since then, the pass rate of the national health administrator examination has been maintained at around 40%, which is relatively more difficult and has stronger medical and health attributes.

The operating skills examination syllabus includes: health monitoring, health risk assessment and analysis, health guidance, health risk factor intervention and health management cases.
The examination for health managers has only been carried out in recent years. Generally, the initial test is not very difficult, and most of the test contents are closely related to real life, which is relatively easy for candidates.
The examination for health managers is divided into two parts, corresponding to theoretical knowledge and professional skills respectively. The teaching materials are the new edition of Basic Knowledge of Health Managers and Three-level National Vocational Qualification of Health Managers designated by the Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center of the National Health Planning Commission, which are published by People's Health Publishing House.
