2. Dietary customs: Lisu people attach great importance to respecting the old and loving the young. Generally, housewives send meals to the elderly and children first, then to their husbands, and finally to eat. When eating, you have to serve the elderly and children. If there are guests at home, cook for them first and take care of them patiently.

The marriage of Lisu people is monogamous. When a wedding is held, a song and dance troupe will be invited to perform. After the bride and the farewell party arrive at the south yard, the two singing teams will begin to sing in pairs.

4. Lisu people are buried after death. After the death of adults, the Lisu people in the village stopped work for 2-3 days to hold mourning activities. In some places, the housing construction is relatively simple, and they are basically small bamboo buildings. People who live upstairs are generally divided into two compartments with bamboo fences, and there are fire pits in the center of both rooms to prepare tripods for cooking and heating. At night, the whole family sleeps around the fire pit, where fires are built all year round.

When the guests came, the host gave the fireplace to the guests. Bamboo house is generally used for cattle, pigs and other animals. Bamboo house is surrounded by gardens with fruits and vegetables.

6. Both Lisu men and women have the custom of chewing cigarettes and drinking. When guests come, they should give them tobacco. When chewing tobacco, first put the cut tobacco into the mouth, then put some black gelatinous substances made of betel nut root, plum peel, chestnut cotyledon and hydrated lime, and chew slowly.

7. In the past, Lisu people worshipped animism, and all traditional festivals were closely related to religious ceremonies. Lisu people determine solar terms by observing phenological changes. The biggest folk festival is the annual Kuosh Festival. During the Spring Festival, we also eat new year's goods and brew water wine in order to pray for a bumper harvest.

8. "River sand burying couples" is the most distinctive traditional festival and courtship activity of Lisu youth in Fugong County, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is held on the fourth and fifth days of the first month of each year. At that time, young men and women will gather along the Nujiang River, singing and dancing. Even with the help of his companions, he dug a bunker on the beach, carried the right person into the "grave", and pretended to be sad, crying, singing funeral songs and dancing.
