Xu You was a saint in the Yao and Shun era. Yao tried to pass on the throne to him, but he sternly refused. He fled to Mount Ji to live in seclusion. Yao wants to ask him to be the chief of Kyushu. He went to Shui Ying to wash his ears and said he didn't want to hear such words. He won the respect of later generations with his lofty integrity of being indifferent to fame and fortune, and was regarded as the originator of hermits. Chao Fu was also a hermit in the same period and a great sage in Yangcheng (now Hongdong, Shanxi). Living in the mountains does not benefit the world, but building a nest in a tree. This is called Chao Fu. Legend has it that Emperor Yao ceded the world to Chao Fu, but Chao Fu refused to accept it.

Boyi was the oldest son in the late Shang Dynasty. At first, Gu Zhu Jun wanted to take his second son, Shu Qi, as his heir. When his father died, Shu Qi gave way to Boyi. Boyi thought he ran away against his father's orders, but Shu Qi refused to stand and ran away. Later, after the King of Wu negotiated with the Shang Dynasty, the world was ruled by the Zhou Dynasty, while Boyi and Shu were ashamed to eat Zhou Su, fled to shouyangshan, picked wild vegetables to eat, and starved to death in shouyangshan.

Because he lives in seclusion in Qingxi Guigu, he calls himself Guiguzi. Guiguzi is the originator of strategists. It is said that Su Qin, Zhang Yi, Sun Bin and Pang Juan are all his disciples. Guiguzi's main works are the classics of Guiguzi and Yin Fu.

Although Guiguzi is a hermit, he also has a heart to help the world. When the disciples mastered enough skills, Guiguzi allowed them to go out and save people. But it is a pity that once Guiguzi's disciples come out of the mountain, they often encounter the same thing because they have mastered certain skills. For example, Su Qin and Zhang Yi, one advocated uniting against Qin and other big countries, and the other advocated that small countries should unite to worship Qin to protect themselves. Therefore, these two disciples often travel all over the country, tearing each other apart. As for Sun Bin and Pang Juan, they are in the same boat. Pang Juan designed to dig Sun Bin's knee, while Sun Bin wiped out Pang Juan with the coup of "encircling Wei to save Zhao".
