Hanjiang Administration of Hubei Province is a purely public welfare institution directly under the Water Resources Department. It was formed by the merger of the former Jingzhou Hanjiang Emergency Repair and Prevention Department and Dongjingjiang Emergency Repair and Prevention Department, and later it was subordinate to the Hanjiang Flood Control Department of Hubei Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, with the number 1995. There are 8 dike management sub-bureaus, 4 culvert management sub-bureaus, 5 units directly under the bureau, and there are 10 departments in the bureau.
