Autistic children are a social vulnerable group that is rarely concerned by the public. It is the responsibility of our college student volunteers to help these "lonely children" grow up healthily. In order to strengthen the care and help for autistic children and cultivate the quality of college students' caring for and contributing to society, the Children's Service Department of the Student Volunteer Service Group of xx College of our school carefully coordinated and planned, and launched a series of volunteer activities of "Qian Qian Love" love teaching assistants from 20xx 10 to1.
First, careful planning. In order to let volunteers know the relevant precautions and general process of the activity in advance, the Children's Service Department held a training meeting on "Qian Qian Love" caring teaching assistant volunteer activity in Mingyuan classroom on1October 7, 20xx11June, and invited outstanding volunteers to explain the details and precautions of autistic children to volunteers. So that they can master the situation and development needs of the active objects in detail.
Second, carefully organize and implement. 20xx 10 year 10 8 month, the Children's Service Department will lead volunteers to the Aids Special Education Training Center to conduct teaching assistant activities for autistic children in batches every week, so as to earnestly maintain the class order and ensure the normal teaching activities of teachers. At the same time, exchange and guide some simple knowledge to help children better integrate into the classroom atmosphere. In the activity class, volunteers and children participate in games together, while ensuring their safety.
Third, the activities have achieved remarkable results. Up to now, 1 1 group volunteers have successfully completed the teaching assistant activities, with a total of 63 participants, providing help and care for 26 children. The interaction between volunteers and children makes the classroom atmosphere more lively and warm. Their good personal qualities and patient guidance have helped the children in the training center, and the distance between them has become closer. After each activity, volunteers will feel deeply. While bringing happiness to these "lonely" children, every volunteer also got his own growth and exercise, and accumulated rich social practice experience, which laid a good foundation for future volunteer activities.
While providing opportunities for volunteers to get close to autistic children, Qian Qian Love Teaching Assistant also conveyed the excellent volunteer spirit of contemporary college students to the society, making college students fully aware of their sense of responsibility and mission as qualified young people in the new era, and calling on more people to take part in caring for the disadvantaged groups in society and jointly create a better tomorrow for them.
