1, temperature
The optimum growth temperature of Dendrobium is 15~30℃. When the temperature is higher than 35℃, the growth stops, and the winter temperature is controlled at 5~ 10℃. If the temperature is too high in summer, it is necessary to cool down Dendrobium: water mist or ventilation can be properly sprayed around Dendrobium to reduce the temperature around Dendrobium. Dendrobium will be frozen due to the temperature drop in winter, and measures should be taken to prevent freezing injury in winter.
2. Lighting equipment
The growth of Dendrobium needs enough scattered light or soft light. Give it 4~6 hours of light every day, and you can put it on the balcony. Generally, the balcony in the north is the best, and it can also be placed outdoors covered with sunshade nets. However, in the summer with high temperature and strong light, it is necessary to block the strong light in time to avoid sunburn and withering of leaves.
Step 3: Moisture
Dendrobium likes to be wet, and it is usually watered once a week. In hot summer, we should use watering can to water their leaves to keep the environment relatively humid, but it is not advisable to water them too much, so as not to rot the roots and leaves, causing Dendrobium to dry up and not grow new leaves, which is not conducive to its growth. The excavated Dendrobium seedlings need to be watered once in the morning and once in the evening. At noon, the sun is shining and the water evaporates quickly, so it needs to be watered many times to ensure the growth humidity of Dendrobium.
4. Land
If you want to raise potted Dendrobium, the requirements for soil are very strict. It needs loose, breathable, well-drained and sterile soil. Therefore, when potted Dendrobium, it is best to choose bark, charcoal block, sphagnum and fern root, and mix them according to the ratio of 3: 1: 1 to prepare nutrient soil. At the same time, before putting it into the pot, it is advisable to spread a layer of solid particles such as broken bricks on the bottom of the pot, which can increase the air permeability in the pot and help the roots of Dendrobium to stretch freely.
