Concept of medical PVC
In the past 20 years, the attitude of consumers in the Asia-Pacific region towards health preservation has changed greatly, which is mainly due to the economic development and the improvement of living standards and education levels. More and more consumers and patients are willing to know about the medical industry and buy medical care services, such as self-diagnosis tools. That is medical grade polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

As a medical material, PVC has a history of many years. It has chemical corrosion resistance, strong resistance to oxidant, reducing agent and strong acid, wear resistance, easy production, safe use and low cost.

This kind of material has good compatibility with intravenous injection and blood, so it is widely used, such as various medical hoses, blood storage devices, dialysis accessories, surgical gloves, medical conditions and artificial organs.

As a medical material, PVC should not only meet the requirements of materials science, but also meet the requirements of biology:

Additives such as plasticizer and stabilizer used in (1) are non-toxic and difficult to seep out of PVC materials;

(2) Good biocompatibility, no teratogenic and carcinogenic effects, and no allergic reaction;

(3) Good blood compatibility, low hemolysis and good anticoagulation.
