Why is it uncomfortable to sit and lie down?
On a street in Huangpu Ancient Village, Guangzhou, a middle-aged cyclist with handsome riding helmet, bright riding clothes, flexible movements and energy successfully attracted everyone's attention-I saw him leaning on a modified bicycle, pedaling backwards, supporting his body weight on the fitness ball and handlebar at the front of the bicycle with his hips and arms, and then "speeding away" from the ancient street paved with bluestones. He is Li Ming, the first person in China to transform cars.

The strange pedaling way lying in the car and the colorful fitness balls on the car body are so eye-catching, every time Li Ming rides a bike in public, it will cause quite a stir, which he has long been used to. In the circle of riders, Li Ming is called "Tao Kai", which has always been his screen name.

Tao Kai was born in 1963 and grew up in the northeast and Shandong. Because his father is an overseas Chinese in Indonesia and his elders think that bicycles are indispensable means of transportation, he has many rare bicycle memories in his childhood.

Tao Kai first improved a scrapped car. He tried riding his first car on February 6th, 20 15, and found that the speed of this car was much faster than that of ordinary mounts, especially when going up and down slopes.

In the next year or so, he converted six bicycles, such as BMX, mountain bike and Hummer, which he had ridden for many years into bicycles, and tested their speed and safety one by one.

Occasionally, Tao Kai will ride a modified recumbent car to join in the fun in the motorcade of recumbent cars and unicycles, and often wander around Guangzhou University Town and urban areas to test the performance of the car and see what surprises the neighbors will get when they see the recumbent car. "Car turn rate 100%!" When it comes to this, Tao Kai is proud. "It's uncomfortable to sit and lie down." Many bold neighbors and riders are willing to experience riding by themselves when they pass the 987 studio. Many young people can find their balance the first time they get on the bus. Of course, there are also many riders who have failed to ride for several laps.

"Riding a bike is actually not difficult at all. As long as people are not trapped by the inherent mounting thinking and dare to try, they will certainly learn that the future of riding is limitless. " Tao Kai believes that it is normal that anything new will be banned when it first rises, but he has confidence in the future of cycling, and he is willing to persist in reforming the cause of cycling just like riding.
