In recent years, square dance has undoubtedly become an influential mass movement in China. Every limited square space is filled with the graceful posture of aunts-mainly aunts, of course-and the steps of the devil. What's more, the square dance has a tendency to go abroad and enhance China's prestige. It has successfully occupied the Red Square in Moscow and the Louvre Square in Paris, not to mention the United States. To some extent, square dance has become the most successful cultural project exported by China to the world. Under this strong development trend, the government pays more and more attention to it. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, the State Sports General Administration, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development jointly issued the Notice on Guiding the Healthy Development of Square Dance Activities, demanding that the good practices and experiences of square dance work be vigorously publicized and a group of outstanding square dance workers, square dance leaders and square dance groups be formed. From this point of view, the seemingly harmonious and joyful square dance is about to usher in a new round of bloody river and lake struggles after years of feuds such as turf wars, partner wars and the sound of pinyin.

In fact, personally, I always think that square dance is a unique scenery in China, and it is another image that can speak for China after martial arts. This can be seen from the fact that every crooked nut (foreigner) who sees the square dance for the first time will participate in it with great interest. Usually they won't be reluctant to leave until they learn a trick and a half. I know, from now on, they will sink into the profound China dance system, unable to extricate themselves.

Strange, how to talk about crooked nuts. Oh, speaking of which, the question comes: Why is square dance popular in every corner of China, and even if it goes to the world, only Chinese aunts dance solo? Can't the aunt and uncle with crooked fruit catch it because of weak internal force? The answer to this question requires me to pretend to be profound. In fact, in countries with a deep degree of aging in Europe and America, retirement at an advanced age is equivalent to the beginning of the second spring of life. People who have a little savings will not only continue to do some work, but also travel around, or write memoirs, learn something new that interests them, fall in love, and send themselves to a nursing home if they can't play anymore. So it seems that these aunts live more comfortably. They don't take care of their children and lock themselves in the house. Some people may think that their family values are different, so look at South Korea and Japan, which are close to our culture. On the streets of Seoul, taxi drivers running all over the street are mostly grandfathers in their fifties and sixties, and so is Japan. In Japan, you can see it in many places. For example, in a small restaurant opposite the school gate of Tokyo University, there are a pair of aunts and grandmothers, a kitchen chef and a front desk service. When your shivering aunt brings you a dish, you will wonder if you are abusing the elderly.

On the other hand, for the elderly in China, a great normal "career" in life is to raise the third generation, resulting in a series of reactions: unmarried children will continue to urge marriage, married children will urge early childbearing, and parents will happily start their busy and worry in the dark until you successfully complete your task. Therefore, Chinese aunts are great, lovely and pitiful at the same time. They have no pursuit of life and spirit, and their hobbies and career dreams seem to be reserved for future generations.

Then, in every square, when the aunts stepped on the cheerful divine comedy beat countless times, did we understand the sadness buried under the beat? Do we know the helplessness behind their passion every time? In fact, they are profoundly interpreting the truth that a young man is worried about giving new words every day-carnival is the loneliness of a group of people.
