When the scenery was selected in Shouyang County in July, there was no suitable village at first. Later, the production director and the artist bought a map of Shouyang. The small black dots on the map are natural villages and the circles are administrative villages. We will follow the map from village to village.

At first, a village was found in the urban-rural fringe east of Shouyang County, much like Xijiazhuang in the play. This village is called Gaojiapo with a population of about 1.600. The streets in the village are hardened and shaded by trees. In particular, the home of a villager in the village coincides with the home of a farmer who likes farming in the play. The main room is a neat and chic row of brick caves with three supporting rooms on the east and west sides.
