In the last article, Yi Xian pharmacists introduced the common syndromes of spleen deficiency and the corresponding Chinese patent medicines. This time, I will introduce the types of dampness and the corresponding Chinese patent medicines.

Wind, cold, summer heat, dampness, dryness and fire are the six evils considered by Chinese medicine, and humidity is one of them. There is an old saying: "a thousand colds are easy to get rid of, but a wet cold is hard to get rid of." Wet and sticky, such as oil entering the surface. " It shows that once the human body is wet, it is often difficult to adjust and the course of disease is lingering.

So where does the moisture come from? First, it comes from the outside world, which is often caused by humid climate, wading in the rain and humid life; Secondly, it is born from the inside, mostly caused by uncontrolled diet. If you often eat greasy, greasy, cold and other foods, and the body itself has spleen deficiency, and the spleen has poor transport ability, it is easy to form moisture in the body.

Damp heat is called damp heat, cold is called cold and dampness, summer heat is called summer dampness, and wind is called rheumatism. There is dampness in the body, and if it is not removed, all diseases will arise. Many diseases are related to dampness and phlegm-dampness, such as fatty liver, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, kidney diseases and even malignant tumors.

If you are only wet, you generally only need to adjust your diet. Common dietotherapy prescriptions for eliminating dampness include Smilax glabra, Gordon Euryale seed, Coix seed, Carassius auratus, Wuzhimao nourishing and eliminating dampness soup, Shuanghong Chenpi duck soup, Wuhua eliminating dampness tea and so on.

If you suffer from dampness for a long time, or collude with other pathogens, it is easy to cause various diseases in your body. At this time, it is often necessary to use Chinese medicine to recuperate. It is suggested that the treatment based on syndrome differentiation under the guidance of Chinese medicine doctors is effective. The following pharmacist Yixian introduces the common types of damp pathogens and the corresponding Chinese patent medicines for your reference.

Summer-dampness accumulation

Summer-dampness accumulation mostly occurs in summer and autumn. If the heat and humidity are suppressed, the hot air in the body will not leak out. Damp-heat stagnation often leads to symptoms such as less body heat, heavy head and tiredness, fullness in the chest, upset, anorexia, bitter taste, dry throat, constipation or diarrhea, reddish urine and yellow tongue coating.

Common Chinese patent medicines are: Ganlu Disinfection Pill, Qingre Qushi Granule, Shi Xia Ganmao Granule and Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, among which Ganlu Disinfection Pill has the function of clearing away heat and toxic materials besides aromatic turbidity. Besides damp-heat, Qingre Qushi Granule has the functions of benefiting qi, promoting fluid production, and clearing away heat and toxic materials. Summer dampness and cold granules are better than aromatic turbidity, clearing summer heat and removing dampness; Huoxiang Zhengqi Water not only relieves exterior dampness, but also plays a role in regulating qi. Can be used for treating common cold due to exogenous wind, internal injury due to dampness stagnation, summer injury due to summer heat and dampness, or gastrointestinal cold.

Dampness sleepy spleen and stomach

Spleen likes dryness and hates dampness, and is easily trapped by dampness, so-called "dampness trapped spleen soil". The function of transporting and transforming water and dampness of the spleen is decreased, and the fluctuation is abnormal, which can further aggravate the stagnation of water and dampness and cause a vicious circle. People will have various symptoms of spleen deficiency and internal dampness, such as fatigue, heavy limbs, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, loose stool discomfort, short and astringent urine, dry mouth and sticky tongue, and fat and serrated tongue.

For those whose spleen and stomach are trapped by dampness, it is necessary not only to replenish qi and strengthen the spleen, but also to eliminate dampness. Shen Ling Baizhu Pill is a Chinese patent medicine for the treatment of spleen deficiency and dampness excess syndrome. Based on Sijunzi Pill, yam, lotus seed, coix seed, white lentil, Amomum villosum and platycodon grandiflorum are added, which not only strengthens the spleen and benefits qi, but also helps to reduce swelling. It is mainly used for treating loose stool, fatigue and anorexia due to spleen deficiency and dampness excess.

Dampness and turbidity hinder the middle.

Dampness belongs to yin evil, invades the human body, stays in the zang-fu organs and meridians, and is most likely to block Qi-flowing, thus causing Qi-flowing to rise and fall abnormally. Chest and hypochondrium are the way of qi movement. Dampness obstructs the chest diaphragm, and qi stagnation leads to chest tightness.

Therefore, many dampness-removing drugs are often combined with qi-promoting products to moisten qi. Common Chinese patent medicines, such as Muxiang Shunqi Pill, consist of Radix Aucklandiae, Fructus Amomi, vinegar-processed Rhizoma Cyperi, Areca catechu, Radix Glycyrrhizae, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Cortex Magnolia Officinalis, Fructus Aurantii, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride and Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens. Has the effects of invigorating qi, eliminating dampness, invigorating spleen and regulating stomach. It can be used for blocking qi movement due to dampness and turbidity, fullness of chest and diaphragm, abdominal distension and pain, vomiting and nausea, and belching and anorexia. Xiangshaweiling Pill consists of Radix Aucklandiae, Fructus Amomi, Rhizoma Atractylodis, Cortex Magnolia Officinalis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Poria, Rhizoma Alismatis, Polyporus, Cortex Cinnamomi and Radix Glycyrrhizae. It has the effects of activating qi, regulating stomach, eliminating dampness and transporting spleen. If it is wet, it will help to eliminate dampness, strengthen the spleen and stomach after taking it. Others, such as Xiangsha Wei Ping Granules, have the functions of eliminating dampness, transporting spleen, activating qi and stomach.

Damp heat accumulation

Dampness is a turbid and sticky evil, which easily affects the circulation of qi. If it is combined with heat evil, it is difficult to clear up damp heat, and the yang-qi injury is more serious when steaming hot. Clinical manifestations are lingering heat, weakness, laziness and lethargy, nausea, anorexia, abdominal distension, loose stool, or jaundice, and impatience. Damp-heat is mainly divided into spleen-stomach damp-heat and hepatobiliary damp-heat.

Damp-heat in the spleen and stomach is often heavier than heat, mainly manifested as fullness in the stomach, nausea, anorexia, heavy limbs, loss of appetite, loose stool, yellow urine and so on. A Chinese patent medicine for treating damp-heat in spleen and stomach, such as Fructus Aurantii Xiao Pi Pill, consists of Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Atractylodis Rhizoma, Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparata, Coptidis Rhizoma, Radix Codonopsis, Glycyrrhrizae Radix, Poria, Cortex Magnolia Officinalis, Fructus Hordei Germinatus, and Zingiberis Rhizoma. It has the functions of clearing damp-heat and eliminating swelling, and can be used for steaming damp-heat and treating chest and abdominal pain. Others, such as zhongmanfenxiao pills, have the functions of strengthening the spleen, promoting qi circulation, clearing away heat and promoting diuresis.

Damp-heat in liver and gallbladder is often heavier than dampness, mainly manifested as hypochondriac swelling and pain, body heat, bitter mouth and dry mouth, dry stool, short and red urine and so on. The treatment principle of damp-heat in liver and gallbladder is to promote diuresis and clear heat, and clear liver and gallbladder. For those who are excessively damp, Chen Yin Wuling Powder is used for treatment. For patients with severe heat syndrome, Longdan Xiegan Pill is used for treatment. Longdan Xiegan Pill is a classic Chinese patent medicine for clearing the liver, benefiting gallbladder and dampness-heat. It is mainly used for dizziness, red eyes and tinnitus, deafness, ear swelling, hypochondriac pain, bitter taste, astringent urine, leukorrhagia due to damp-heat in liver and gallbladder.

Gegenqin Lianpian or Xianglian Pill are commonly used for damp-heat diarrhea. Simiao Pill is a multi-purpose pill for regulating damp-heat, which is composed of Rhizoma Atractylodis, Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, Cortex Phellodendri and Coicis Semen, and has the functions of clearing away heat and promoting diuresis. It has the functions of clearing away heat, promoting diuresis, relaxing muscles and tendons, and relieving pain, and is mainly used for treating downward flow of damp heat, numbness of feet, and soreness of bones and muscles. Wuling Pill has the effects of clearing away heat and purging fire, inducing diuresis and treating stranguria, and is mainly suitable for stranguria caused by downward flow of damp heat. Compound LYSIMACHIA Granule has the functions of clearing away heat, promoting diuresis, promoting diuresis and removing calculus, diminishing inflammation and relieving pain, and is mainly used for urinary calculi and urinary tract infection with downward flow of damp heat. Lotus leaf lipid-regulating tea is mainly used for damp-heat hyperlipidemia. Danggui Kushen Pill has the function of cooling blood and eliminating dampness, and is mainly used for acne papules and eczema itching caused by blood dryness and damp heat. Fuke Qianjin Pill has the effects of clearing away heat, promoting diuresis and invigorating qi and blood, and is mainly used for pelvic inflammatory disease and endometritis of damp-heat accumulation type.

Cold-dampness stagnation

Because dampness is the evil of yin, and yin is superior to yang, it is harmful and easy to hurt yang. Cold-dampness arthralgia is characterized by cold body and limbs, mental fatigue, abdominal distension, weight loss, loss of appetite, pale mouth without thirst, sore limbs, pale tongue with white and greasy fur and slow pulse. Fuzi Lizhong Pill is a kind of Chinese patent medicine which can warm the middle warmer, dispel cold, strengthen the stomach and eliminate dampness. It is mainly used for vomiting and diarrhea, chest fullness and abdominal pain, dyspepsia and other symptoms caused by spleen and stomach deficiency and cold.

Accumulation of phlegm and dampness

The spleen controls the wet transport of water, which is the source of water, the lung is the source of water and the kidney is the source of water. If there is something wrong with the ability of these three zang-fu organs to regulate water and liquid, they will all stop the metabolism of water and liquid and condense into phlegm. "Spleen is the source of phlegm", but we must not forget that "the liver blocks the spleen", and the liver is the "culprit". Therefore, in order to treat phlegm-dampness accumulation, besides exercising more and paying attention to diet conditioning, it is more important to nourish the liver and strengthen the spleen.

Chen Er Pill is a classic Chinese patent medicine commonly used to treat phlegm-dampness syndrome, which is composed of Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Rhizoma Pinelliae, Poria and Radix Glycyrrhizae. It has the effects of eliminating dampness and resolving phlegm, regulating qi and regulating stomach, and is mainly used for cough, excessive phlegm, chest fullness, nausea and vomiting caused by phlegm retention. In addition, Wendan decoction is also an ancient prescription for resolving phlegm and eliminating dampness, but it needs to be used dialectically under the guidance of a doctor.
