First, you need to plug the USB flash drive into the computer.

Then, install the USB flash drive on the system. For example, if the U disk is recognized by the system as /dev/sdb 1, then the mount command is

Mount /dev/sdb 1 /mnt.

Here, your system needs to support the file system of USB flash drive. Generally speaking, the file system of U disk is fat32 ntfs. You need to install ntfs-3g software package on your system.

After mounting, you can copy files, such as the file test.txt.
