Eating oysters and other seafood usually helps.
Low sperm motility, also known as asthenospermia, is one of the most common causes of male infertility in clinic. If the fertility is normal, the live sperm should be above 70%. If the live sperm is less than 50%, it is abnormal, that is, the sperm moving forward (A and B) is less than 50% or the sperm moving A is less than 25%. If the sperm is completely inactive, it is azoospermia. Oligozoospermia is also called asthenospermia.
Sperm motility is divided into four grades:
Grade A indicates excellent sperm activity and rapid progress in a straight line;
Grade B indicates that sperm activity is very good and it goes straight ahead;
Grade C indicates that sperm motility is average, and it only advances in a curve;
D-level means that sperm has poor fluidity and can only squirm in situ.
Sperm with fast advancing speed and sperm with slow advancing speed, A-grade B (A +b) ≤50% or A-grade sperm ≤25%.
1/ Mild asthenospermia refers to A +b sperm ≤50% but ≥30% or A sperm ≤25% but ≥ 10%.
2/ Moderate asthenospermia refers to A +b sperm ≤50%, but ≥30%, of which A sperm ≤ 10%.
3/ Severe asthenospermia means that the number of B +c sperm is ≤30%, in which A sperm is zero. In asthenospermia, sperm can't move forward, and it is difficult to directly combine with eggs through cervical canal and uterine cavity, resulting in low fertility.
