Methods/steps:

1. Get the wool and needles ready. Let's do a knitting demonstration. First, start knitting 50 stitches from the bottom of the sweater and circle the upper and lower stitches.

2. After knitting to the length of the hem, change the next stitch, and then knit all the way to the armpit.

3. Start to divide the front and back pieces, leave one stitch under the left and right armpits of the front piece, leave three stitches before knitting to the collar, and then put them on for later use. Knit about 3 stitches on both sides, take one stitch each, then take another stitch every other circle (the other half of the front piece is knitted with thread), and then continue knitting to shoulder height.

4. Next, start to knit the back piece, leaving one stitch under the left and right armpits, five stitches at the back collar, adding thread to knit the other side, and collecting one stitch for each of the five stitches to make it 7 stitches, which is a bit sock-like in the middle.

5. Then sew the front and back shoulders on both sides. After sewing, turn to the front

6. Next, pick up the neckline ring and start knitting the upper and lower needles to knit the neckline edge. Knit the edge of the collar.

7. Then pick up the stitch of the sleeve, including the needle left under the arm, and start to knit the sleeve. Then according to the size of the sleeve, put the needle on the extension line under the arm at intervals, then knit the cuff up and down, and then knit the other sleeve in the same way, thus knitting the children's round neck sweater.
