Dear friends who have seen the musical Mamma Mia, let's talk about your feelings after watching it! !
In fact, this is the first China musical I really saw. Although I am fascinated by musicals, I always feel that China people can't produce good musicals out of personal pessimism (at least for now). Therefore, although Beijing sometimes has some domestic musicals, such as Butterfly, it still doesn't inspire people to buy tickets to watch.

Mamma Mia is something that has been performed abroad for many years. Both the music and the plot have stood the test of time, but the sinicization should not be too bad. So I still have some expectations for this play.

I was going to see it in 10, but I didn't expect my classmate to call and say that I had two tickets in my hand and I couldn't understand them, so I gave them to me.

When I was in graduate school, several students in the dormitory liked musicals, and we often went to listen to music appreciation classes organized by students of the Art College together. After graduation, everyone was very busy, but after seeing good plays and musicals, they called on each other to go together. This hobby has actually become a bond, which firmly maintains our friendship in this huge and busy city.

Mamma Mia's performance venue is in the Century Theatre, outside the Northeast Third Ring Road, which is relatively different and the venue is not large. After seeing the performance plan of this play, I plan to perform several performances in early September and more than ten performances in October. It seems that these games in September are all about testing water, so I chose them here.

In this play, it is the shadow who plays the mother. This woman is a professional musical actress. Actually, I haven't seen her performance, but she was the judge of the last Super Girl. After reading one or two, I feel that this woman's speech is somewhat artificial, but the gas field is very strong.

Listening to the scene, not bad? It can support this role. But I prefer the voice of the girl who plays her daughter Sophie, which is quite stable and powerful. The women are all good, but a few male roles are much worse, especially the one who plays "The First Hero". The Cantonese accent is very strong and it is difficult to adapt. You just need to recall Gui Yalei's words as Mrs. Wang in The New Red Chamber to know what it is like.

After listening to the whole scene, the overall feeling is nothing too serious. In fact, this is the biggest problem: it is too tight to let go.

Why do I like musicals? For me, on the one hand, they are beautiful songs and dances and performances; On the other hand, equally important, they are the enthusiasm of everyone on the field, the enthusiasm for singing and dancing, performance, life and dreams.

Often associated with human ancestors, it is precisely to express their feelings of joy or sadness that they can't help dancing. Long song should sigh, thus producing the earliest musical, right?

Thenardier, the villain in Les Miserables, was singing arm in arm, with a dark face and dressed like a clown. But they still sang and danced enthusiastically, and the actors on the stage applauded them. At this time, although they were painted so ugly and ragged, they were as radiant and full of artistic charm as the hero and heroine. After singing, the two bowed smartly and the audience applauded.

I have always thought that musical is an art form that is no longer suitable for Americans. They were formally founded only two hundred years ago. Young couples dare to bid farewell to the city and go to the distant west to open up their own new world brick by brick. They have strong vitality and enthusiasm for life. During the break, they are ready to sing loudly, lift their skirts and step on the dance steps at any time and place in the summer night.

Watching the live video of Oklahoma, everyone is very involved in dancing and singing, as if to take advantage of this performance, enjoy the songs and dances brought by themselves and their companions, and vent their endless vitality by the way. Such a performance cannot but have strong magic.

Unfortunately, the vitality of this scene is not realized in this China version of Mamma Mia. I once said that China people's over-restrained emotional expression is not suitable for such an art form as musical. Many people disagree with this view.

Things may change after we have mature musicals, actors and audiences.

The whole performance, to borrow a friend's comment, is like "lead singer and backup singer, lead dancer and backup dancer". Musical is a "play" in the final analysis, but most people on the stage don't "act" or enter the play, which can't impress the audience.

The fundamental reason should be that there are too few performance opportunities. How many musicals can China put on a year? How many can perform for more than a dozen times in a row? In an immature market, it is impossible for professional musical actors to appear. Foreign musical actors, however, have to fight for every performance opportunity on their own, and they will cherish every second on the stage.

Look at the castings in here. Every dancer regards being on the same stage with Jackson as the greatest honor, even as the peak of her artistic career. Under such circumstances, it is conceivable how much they are willing to pay for every song and dance on the stage. On the contrary, when I came back, I had an unexpected surprise.

It can be seen that they also attach great importance to returning to the stage. Not only did they sing several classic songs in the play, but several protagonists also put on some dazzling bat shirts and Elvis Presley costumes with big shorts, singing and dancing, which was very wonderful. Now that the performance has been successfully concluded, it is estimated that everyone on the stage is relaxed, but it is extremely wonderful. The audience under the stage also stood up, applauded and beat them, and the atmosphere H reached the highest point of the whole night. I have always believed that this kind of live interaction is the biggest attraction of the scene.
