My hometown, nehe city, is a beautiful and rich place on Nenjiang Plain in the northeast of China. Since People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded 60 years ago, great changes have taken place in my hometown. If you are a wanderer returning from a long distance, you will be surprised to find that the small town in your memory has changed. In the past, low and dilapidated buildings have become rows of buildings and tall buildings. The dusty roads in sunny days and muddy roads in rainy days have now become wide and clean avenues and expressways. Trees and flowers are planted on both sides of the road, which is pleasing to the eye. Exquisite and gorgeous street lamps are arranged on both sides of the road. On the road, there are endless signs and crowds. There are dense commercial buildings, numerous supermarkets, prosperous market, clean city appearance and beautiful environment. The old city disappeared and a prosperous city was established in my hometown. Especially since the reform and opening up, my hometown has embarked on the road of economic take-off, bid farewell to the era of material shortage, and there are many kinds of goods. In the past, people lined up with tickets to buy things. Now, businesses have to rely on discounts to promote sales. Great changes have taken place in the food, clothing, housing and transportation of hometown people. Since the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC) 60 years ago, the living standards of people in their hometown have improved significantly. Living conditions have been greatly improved. In the past, people lived in low and humble thatched houses and adobe bungalows, and the best was brick houses. Nowadays, residential buildings with unique shapes have sprung up like mushrooms after rain, and many people have moved into spacious, bright, beautifully decorated and comfortable buildings. Especially in the past two years, my hometown has built a new district in the south of the city. Now, this empty grassland has become a commercial area with great commercial value. Not only has housing changed, but food, clothing and use have also undergone fundamental changes. In the past, we used to eat poorly to satisfy hunger, but now we eat exquisitely, seeking freshness, seeking health and becoming more and more nutritious. In the past, in order to protect the body from the cold, the style was single and the color was monotonous. Now what we wear is innovation and change, fashion, and more and more beautiful clothes. In the past, it was about economy and seeking benefits. Now looking for famous brands, talking about high-grade, using more and more advanced. Now, people in their hometown enjoy superior material life, while their spiritual life is more colorful. People participate in various classes, training courses and universities for the aged, constantly improving and enriching their cultural knowledge, forming a reading craze. Sitting at home surfing the Internet and participating in colorful cultural and sports activities are the hobbies of hometown people. In the morning, before the sun rises, thousands of people gather in Yuting Park for morning exercises. Some run, some fight, some dance, some sword dance, some play ball, some yangko, and morning exercises are in full swing. As night falls, people leave their homes and come to crowds and squares full of modern flavor. In the square, the lights are brightly lit, neon lights are flashing, and people are surging under the colorful lights. Under the colorful lights, colorful fountains sometimes go straight into the sky with the rhythm of music, and sometimes dance gently and slowly, with different shapes and fascinating, attracting people to watch, admire and marvel. On the west side of the square is a fitness area with dozens of advanced sports equipment. People are in groups, exercising and keeping fit, and their bodies are strong and their vitality is multiplied. In the center of the square, dance music is melodious, and teams of ancient and rare old people dance with cheerful music. Look at their brisk dance steps, boyish figure and childlike smile, it's really rejuvenation. There are crowds of people in the square, smiling and beaming. Bright lights, flashing in the night sky, flashing lights are like stars in the sky. Lights and starlight shine in the night sky. Is that starlight or light? Is that earth or heaven? People say heaven is beautiful, but I say my hometown is better than heaven. Without the Party, there would be no new China, and without the new China, there would be no great changes in my hometown.
