My high school is a semi-militarized, closed house. Every Saturday afternoon, after the grade meeting, I can "keep watch" and go back and take a good bath. The food in the canteen is not good. I remember that lunch has always been tomatoes, eggs and shredded potatoes, because other dishes are even worse. In this way, my weight has soared, and I can see a little curve besides my chin. Everything else is round, especially my thighs. Every time I go home, I am laughed at by my family, like legs and blue thin mushrooms.
When I arrived at the university, I finally had the freedom and time to implement the weight loss plan. In that era when the Internet was still underdeveloped (alas, my age was exposed), I searched everywhere for ways to lose weight and spent every day in the fashion magazine section of the library, because the fashion magazines of the last century often published articles such as My Diary of Losing Weight, Seven Most Effective Ways to Lose Weight, and The Secret of Losing Weight in 30 Days 10 Jin.
After drinking slimming tea and pills, I found that I lost weight, but frequent stomachache made my face sallow. Even ordered the formula of "7-day slimming soup" recommended by super magic stars, and finally gave up because the dormitory could not cook with fire. Looking back now, I only drink boiled water such as cabbage, green pepper and carrot every day and eat vegetable residue, and I won't lose weight for 7 days.
In the spirit of "Shennong tastes a hundred herbs", after long-term unremitting efforts, we finally found a simple, convenient, effective (appearing in many articles and verified by many people), practical (the auxiliary tools are simple and easy to get), and it doesn't take too long (1 month) to see the effect. The most important thing is that there are no side effects and it is not easy to rebound: running.
There is a circular playground under the dormitory building where I live. The school is not paved with plastic, and the runway is full of cinders. Despite the difficult conditions, I firmly believe that running can make people lose weight healthily, and the skin will not relax, but will tighten. In addition, there have been witnesses' testimonies: the 400-meter track race can obviously lose weight in one month, so I hardly hesitated to practice at once.
After self-study every night 10, I started a lonely long-distance running, which was not only lonely, but also boring: at that time, my mobile phone could not listen to songs, and my walkman and radio were too heavy, so I could only run, and my mind unconsciously recalled what happened recently, what happened a few days ago, and what happened when I was a child.
At the beginning of running 1 lap, I was panting like an ox, so I had to stop and walk, but I persisted in walking for 5 laps. Later, it gradually increased to 2 laps and 5 laps, and then rested in place after running, stretching all over to avoid muscle agglomeration and frog legs.
Suddenly one day, I put on a short skirt in high school and prepared to go downstairs for a run. I was surprised to find that my waist is so big that I even have to keep lifting it while running in order not to affect my pace. I calculated that it's only been more than 40 days since my first run.
In addition to the reduction of waistline, because I insist on stretching my leg muscles after running, my elephant legs can actually be close to slender, and I can't help but lift my legs and enjoy them before going to bed (ah, what a pervert).
Sweating after running makes my skin more ruddy and shiny, my footsteps are light, my sleep quality is super high, and I feel happy every day (later I learned that it is because exercise makes people secrete dopamine, a happy factor). What is even more surprising is that I have become an easy-to-lose physique envied by everyone. Even if I go home on holiday, I will gain a few pounds without exercise, and I will lose weight immediately after a few days of school exercise.
When I was in college, I ran 10 laps almost every day as long as conditions allowed. Coupled with good eating habits, my weight is well controlled, which is still the case in graduate school. I wasn't too excited when I saw the brand-new dark red plastic runway on campus. The habit of running also made me easily win the runner-up of 3000 meters in the school track and field meeting. The counselor said excitedly: our college has never won any rankings in such activities since its establishment.
Everyone around me has seen me run and said, you are so persistent! In fact, where perseverance is needed, it can't stop at all! Sometimes I can't run because of the heavy rain, and I will jump straight in the dormitory. I really feel the taste of boys itching without playing football.
There are two key words in my experience, one is feedback and the other is hypothesis.
Let's start with feedback.
Some people say it takes 2 1 day to form a good habit, while others say it takes 100 day. Although I often hear the phrase "habit becomes nature", what I often hear is: I simply can't hold on.
Why? Does three minutes of heat lead to the death of passion? Is it because people hate repetition? I think the real reason is not getting feedback.
Humans naturally like to be satisfied immediately: when they are hungry, they should eat immediately; When they are cold, they should go to a warm place at once. Because procrastination means pain. Many people spend a lot of money on annual cards and fitness cards. I've been there three times, and I'm stuck there moldy. Because I can't see the vest line and six-pack abdominal muscles growing on my body at once, I feel that fitness is useless, and then I find a lot of reasons to comfort myself-busy, far away and tired. When they saw those fitness fanatics, they sincerely envied: good perseverance!
Running is also a habit that needs to be cultivated for a long time, at least for a long time, because I get positive feedback from running: I am thinner, more beautiful, in a good mood and in good health ... After tasting the sweetness, I am more willing to actively strengthen this positive feedback. If you need perseverance a few days ago, the more you get to the back, the more you can feel the pleasure of non-stop, which has nothing to do with perseverance.
Let's talk about the hypothesis again.
Any of our views and beliefs are assumptions, not facts. The process of learning and growing is to constantly correct wrong assumptions and make them infinitely close to the facts. If you accept and admit this, it proves that you are plastic and there is much less resistance to doing something.
Many people think that they are not good at sports, are not suitable for running, and have no talent for sports ... these may be true, but they are all assumptions first. If others try to comfort him that this is not true, it will only inspire him to find more evidence to prove it. Therefore, we can only give full play to our subjective initiative, not "asking me to change" but "I want to change".
In running, I got rid of the prejudice of fixed thinking and denied the following assumptions: a fat man can't run; I didn't pass the 800-meter test in middle school, so I can't run that far. But first of all, I firmly believe that running will help me achieve the effect of losing weight and shaping, but I have never tried it, so I will know if I try it; If I couldn't run down before, was it because of the wrong posture? Then I will learn the correct posture for running.
If you always take past assumptions to guide today's actions, then no matter how hard you try, it will be futile, because things that the subconscious doesn't recognize at all are difficult to do, so some people say that things that require perseverance may not last long.
Once your inherent thinking is loose, change will happen naturally.
I have to go running.
