1. Guilin is a prefecture-level city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a world-famous tourist city, the first batch of national historical and cultural cities in China and an excellent tourist city in China. 2. Located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guilin is the largest airport in Guangxi and the political, economic, cultural and transportation center in the northeast of Guangxi.

Guilin is bordered by Hunan and Guizhou in the north, Liuzhou in the west and Hezhou in the south. It is a typical karst landform.
