What is the legislative basis of People's Republic of China (PRC) Teachers Law?
As for the legislative basis, the law will generally make clear provisions in the first article, but through the inquiry of the first article of the Teachers Law of our country, no clear provisions have been found. However, China's Constitution stipulates that citizens have the right to education. Since they want to receive education, they must have teachers. Therefore, it can be said that the Constitution is the indirect legislative basis of the Teachers Law.

According to the Teachers Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), people's governments at all levels should take measures to strengthen teachers' ideological and political education and professional training, improve their working and living conditions, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, and improve their social status. The whole society should respect teachers. The law also stipulates that September 10 is Teacher's Day every year.

According to the law, the average salary level of teachers shall not be lower than or higher than that of national civil servants, and shall be gradually increased. Establish a normal promotion and salary increase system. If the local people's government violates the provisions of this law, defaults on teachers' wages or infringes on other legitimate rights and interests of teachers, it shall be ordered to make corrections within a time limit.
