Liu Ning is currently the head coach of the Thai men's weightlifting team. He used to be a weightlifter in Liaoning Province, and studied under the coach Zhang Jiamin. Speaking of coach Zhang Jiamin, it is well known in Thailand's weightlifting field. After he came to Thailand from China, he trained five world champions and became a meritorious coach in Thailand.
