Fruit in Sri Lanka
Langka, located in the tropics, has rich and varied fruits. Although I haven't seen my favorite durian, I am deeply fascinated by other fruits here.

First of all, pineapple. Whenever I finish my day's work and walk home, I will shout from my heart, "Oh, I really want to eat a pineapple!" " "So I walked into a roadside fruit stand and picked pineapples. I wasn't used to eating pineapple when I first ate it-probably because the pineapple cutter in China didn't arrive here, and the fruit vendor here handled the pineapple in a simple and rude way-and directly peeled off the skin with a knife and cut it into pieces. Because we can't waste too much, many black holes naturally stay on it. Fortunately, the smell of pineapple always makes me ignore this black spot. In a word, now my taste buds only have the sweet memory of pineapple flavor, not the bitter taste of black.

Jackfruit, many of my volunteer friends have never even heard of this fruit. However, there are also many jackfruit trees in the coconut grove in Lanka, with huge fruits hanging on them. When I look at these jackfruits, I often think that it doesn't matter whether he can hit me or not. In the face of eating, I can't help being tempted. My two experiences have filled me with fond memories of this fruit. Once, I passed a house surrounded by five or six jackfruits. Our group was very curious and wanted to buy one to eat. Of course, the owner here will not sell it to us. They immediately picked up the plate and cut it out for us to eat.

Another experience from a friend. They passed by a family, saw the fruit on the tree, and asked the shopkeeper if they could sell one to them. Because none of them were ripe, the director said no, and they left angrily. I don't know. A few minutes later, the hostess trotted after her children. It turned out that she suddenly found one at home and asked them to go back to eat. So my two friends are blessed: they ate sweet jackfruit and the hostess washed her hands with coconut oil. When friends were eating, they found their daughters watching, so they called them together. Who knows, they proudly said: nothing, you don't eat often, we can eat if we want! "

About jackfruit, these two wonderful memories will accompany me.

I was attracted by the simple hospitality of Langkawi people. You can feel it in all aspects. The papaya here is also very cheap, about fifty rupees (equivalent to RMB 2.5 yuan) can buy a complete papaya, and it has no seeds and tastes very delicious. I once went out to play with local student Chamas. He saw us buying papaya and proudly said, I never buy papaya in the supermarket. There are ten papaya tree trees in our house. I pick them when I want to eat them. After listening, I looked envious.
