The correct operation steps of intramuscular injection are:

1, bring things to the bedside, check three times and seven pairs, explain to the patients, relieve their worries and get cooperation.

2. Prepare the syringe and suck the liquid (by intradermal injection). Sucking out the liquid medicine from the ampoule: bounce the liquid medicine at the tip of the ampoule to the body, scrape the neck of the ampoule with a grinding wheel, disinfect the neck with a cotton swab of 0.5% iodine tincture, break the ampoule, put the inclined plane of the needle down into the liquid level in the ampoule with a syringe, hold the ampoule with your left hand, thumb, ring finger and little finger, and hold the piston with your right hand to suck out the liquid medicine.

3. Disinfection of skin: intradermal injection. Take out two cotton swabs from a cotton swab tube or a cotton swab paper bag, clip them on the left little finger, and then take out a piece dipped in iodine tincture to disinfect the skin (more than 5cm in diameter) from the little finger and clip it on the left ring finger.

4. The thumb and forefinger of the left hand are separated from the skin, the needle is held in the right hand, and the needle bolt is fixed in the middle finger. The needle is at right angles to the injection site, and the needle is quickly inserted into the muscle. The needle insertion is about 2.5-3cm, and the number of thin and sick children should be reduced.

5. Loosen the left hand and twitch the piston. If there is no blood return, slowly inject the liquid medicine. After the injection, press the dry cotton swab in the little finger of the left hand at the eye of the needle and quickly pull out the needle. Observe the reaction. Clean things up and put them back.
