Fugou is located in the eastern Henan plain and belongs to Zhoukou City, Henan Province. The county governs 16 townships (streets), with an area of 1 173 square kilometers, cultivated land1/0/40,000 mu and a total population of 770,000. It is a typical traditional agricultural county. Topography of fugou county

The geological foundation of Fugou County is the eastward expansion and downward inclination of the Qinling banded structural belt and Songshan fold belt, which is located in the middle of Tongxu Uplift and Zhoukou Depression. After Yanshan movement, it was uplifted for a long time and deposited in Neogene. The upper tertiary to quaternary strata are 900 ~1200m thick. Hydrogeological exploration borehole records show that within 400 meters near the surface, all of them are loose deposits.

Fugou is located in the alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with a flat terrain, slightly inclined from northwest to southeast, with an altitude of 50-72 meters and an average surface slope of 1/6000.
