Cangzhou Prison was founded in September of 195 1, formerly known as the reform-through-labour team of the Public Security Department of Cangxian County Commissioner's Office in Hebei Province, and was renamed as the Fifth Reform-through-labour Corps of Hebei Province in 1978.
