Every time it snows in Nanjing, people always think of a sentence: "When it snows, Nanjing becomes Jinling". Jinling is the ancient name of Nanjing, and it is still the name that many people like to call Nanjing. Nanjing has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Up to now, it retains a large number of historical sites and enjoys the reputation of "the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties", which is favored by countless tourists.
If the next day's snow can be preserved, besides Confucius Temple, there is another place where the snow scene is not lost at all and even more attractive. It is the "Chaotian Palace", and the combination of ancient buildings and snow scenes is simply breathtaking, making it the best snow-viewing destination in Nanjing.
Located in Shuiximen, Qinhuai District, Nanjing, the Chaotian Palace has a very long history, which can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period. Fu Cha, the king of Wu, built a wall here and set up a workshop for smelting and casting bronzes, forming the earliest urban smelting in Nanjing. In the Ming Dynasty, the Chaotian Palace was a place for the royal nobles to pray for blessings and the civil and military officials to practice the etiquette of worshiping the emperor. Its name was also named by Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and it was taken from the meaning of "worshiping heaven and welcoming the emperor".
Chaotian Palace is not only a national 4A-level tourist attraction, but also a national key cultural relic protection unit. Admission is 25 yuan per person.
There are a large number of temple-style buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are of high grade. It is the largest, tallest and most complete existing official ancient architectural complex in Jiangnan, so it has the reputation of "the first scene of Jinling".
Many people may only know that there is a Confucian temple in Nanjing Confucius Temple. In fact, Chaotian Palace is also a Confucius Temple. As early as the Song Dynasty, Confucius Temple was established here. When you enter the Chaotian Palace, you can see the landmark buildings of Confucius Temple, such as Chi Pan, Lingxingmen and Confucius Statue. The Confucian temple in the snow is particularly beautiful, which is inseparable from the architecture here. Scarlet walls and yellow glazed tiles look beautiful from a distance.
Every time I go to the Chaotian Palace to see the snow scene, I always think of the Forbidden City in Beijing in the snow. If I take a closer look, it looks like it. After all, their architectural colors are almost the same. Snow falls quietly and falls on branches, tiles and bluestone boards. Looking at the scenery in front of us, the world is quiet and the whole person is quiet. It seems that everyone can hear the sound of snow falling.
In fact, I hope it will still snow tomorrow. The scenery and artistic conception of Tiangong are different when it snows and it doesn't. If so, I will go to the Heavenly Palace early tomorrow morning and look forward to it. If so, will you go to the Chaotian Palace to see the snow? Maybe we can meet again.
