For a while, people will obey God until they forget it again. God raised Gideon (Gideon) to save them from his enemy Midian. When leaders die, they will turn against the Lord or use their own way of thinking again. Gideon must deal with such people. A writer said in the introduction of The Book of Judges, "The greatest hero appears in the worst confusion and confusion." Does this remind us of today's unstable economy? We need to pray for our leaders to have the will of God to rule our country. Gideon and other leaders must rely on God. Then God will send some judges (or leaders) to fight for Israel. Gideon still didn't believe it and asked God for a miracle. When we read Judges 6-8, we will see more Gideon's thoughts than his achievements. God reminded him that he was a "mighty warrior" and said "I am with you". God said, "You must save Israel from Midian by your power" (6: 14). He still didn't believe that in his heart, God would save Israel. He tested it with wool. He asked God when to put the wool on the threshing floor at night. If the wool is wet in the morning and the ground is dry, he will believe in God. Of course it happened. God is not a liar. No. 23: 19. Gideon still didn't believe it, so he used the wool test again. When we read, study and meditate on God's Word, we must also be persuaded. If we trust and obey him and renew our minds through his holy spirit, we will also win the war and overcome the trials we face. Gideon is still not sure whether God will save the Israelites. He proved it with wool. He prayed to God that if he put wool in the ground, it would be wet and dry the next day. Of course, this happened. "If God was not a man, he would never lie" (Numbers 23: 19). Gideon was still unconvinced, so he used wool to prove it. This time, he hoped that the wool was dry and there was dew on the ground. God promised him again. Then we know the following story. In chapter 7, we see that God defeated his enemies. Similarly, when we read, study and meditate on God's Word, we should also be sure. If we believe in God, obey God, and constantly renew our thoughts and concepts through the Holy Spirit, then we will surely win our battles and overcome the trials before us. Today, the Bible says, in Phil 2:5, let this idea rest on you. Also in Christ Jesus. Pro 23:7 As a man thinks, so is he. Gideon was afraid at first that he didn't believe that God was with him, but in the end, when victory came, he changed his mind, and now he believes in God again. The Bible tells us that if we offend God. He wants us to repent and return to him. John 2: 12 He will forgive us forever and revive us. At first, Gideon was afraid and doubted whether God was with him, but in the end, when victory came, he changed his mind and believed in God again. The Israelites once again saw God's mercy on them. No matter who our enemies are, when we trust God, God is always faithful. The Bible tells us that if we have sinned against God, God wants us to confess our sins and turn to him. 1 John 2: 12. God will forgive our sins. If Gideon decides not to listen to God and is still overcome by the fear in his heart, then Israel will also be defeated. We have a great god! Jesus is our perfect sacrifice, so let us believe and obey, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and victory is ours. We have a God who sent his son, Jesus, and paid an incredible price, so that we can have rich life on the earth and live with eternal life forever. Compared with what he has prepared for us, anything we have experienced here is insignificant. Jesus is our perfect salvation sacrifice.
