Tibet lives in the southwest of the roof of the world and is a typical geographical representative of the roof of the world. Because of this, I have been longing for it for a long time, and I want to feel its unique climate and human characteristics. It is this desire that made me embark on a trip to Tibet in early autumn of 2009. Fly from Xi 'an to tens of thousands of meters high clouds. The sun shines directly on my head, and my feet are like walking on an overwhelming cotton ball, like walking on a cloud, which makes me feel like a fairy when I enter the cloud, so I am happy. After more than three hours' flight, it flew over Tibet. The plane landed slowly, as if flying at the end of the mountain, which seemed within reach, making people in shock, holding their breath and landing safely at La Salle airport soon. We finally set foot on this mysterious land.
I have long heard that altitude sickness is severe, and I have never felt it personally, so I am very scared. When I got off the plane and got on the bus to the city, there was no response at all, so I wondered and felt incredible. I am excited to call my classmates who I haven't seen in Quincy for decades, hoping to meet again and renew our friendship. I'm already elated. Along the way, I saw that the scenery outside the car was not much different from that in the mainland. Poplar trees on the roadside are also very lush, but the whole body is covered with branches, which is slightly different from that in the mainland. I don't know how tenacious the vitality of poplar is, but it can thrive on the 10 thousand-meter plateau. The deepest feeling is the blue sky and white clouds, which is really different from the mainland. It seems to be above the clouds, especially clean, without a trace of dust. All the way to the hotel on a whim, we washed and dusted all the way, took a break and waited for dinner when the travel agency arranged it properly. Because the time difference between Quincy and the mainland is two hours, it gets dark much later. After the students arranged and told us where to eat, the five of us took two taxis to eat. That classmate arranged for someone to wait at the door early and arranged for us to sit down and wait. My classmate came late, and I was in a hurry with another classmate because of something temporary. I haven't seen you for decades. I have changed a lot since I went to school. We hugged each other and cried with joy. Do as Romans do in Rome. First of all, this classmate made a simple opening remarks, introduced each other and welcomed us to travel to Tibet. Another student named "Wencheng" presented Hada to each of us formally and honorably. We all call him Princess at school. I didn't expect him to be as deeply integrated into Tibetan culture as today's princess. The etiquette of ethnic minorities made us feel the Tibetan flavor immediately. Before dinner, my classmates knew that I couldn't drink, and worried about my altitude sickness, they suggested drinking less beer. I listened to the arrangement and thought that I didn't feel anything at this time, just as you said. Old classmates meet, endless words, endless feelings, endless campus life. Pushing a cup for a change, I was so excited that my old classmates frequently picked up dishes for me and advised me to try more Tibetan specialties, which made me very moved. I felt dizzy at the end of the party. I was really drunk and didn't know how to get back to the hotel, so I fell asleep. When I woke up, I had a splitting headache At dawn, I quickly put on my clothes and searched the streets for oxygen. Most shops haven't opened yet. I finally found a merchant and bought a bottle of oxygen. Like a bottle of insecticide, I continued to spray it on my nose and suck it on my nose, slowly relieving it. I tasted the severe altitude sickness for the first time. There is really no real feeling without experience. This is my first feeling when I came to Tibet.
The travel agency arranged for us to travel. The first stop is Potala Palace. When we arrived at Potala Palace Square, the sun had already risen high. The Potala Palace, built on a hill, is particularly magnificent under the sunshine. I really want to thank the wisdom of the Tibetan people. In the underdeveloped past, how to build this magnificent palace is still puzzling. To visit the Potala Palace, you must climb a mountain. It doesn't look very high, but it's difficult to climb. People feel top-heavy because of altitude sickness. Nevertheless, we insisted on following the guide to visit this mysterious treasure hall, which really opened our eyes and showed us the charm of Tibetan Buddhism and the wisdom of Tibetans. Back at the foot of the mountain, we took photos in Potala Palace Square and played for a long time. At this time, the sun shines on our faces, which is particularly dazzling and sunny. However, when we stand under a tree, a cool breeze suddenly blows gently, while when we stand in the sun, the weather is hot, which makes us realize the unique climate characteristics of malignant ultraviolet radiation on the plateau. When I returned to the hotel at the end of the day, I had a headache. Asked the waiter how to relieve this intense state, she pointed out that we could lose some liquid. Two or three people who were with me felt much better after intravenous drip, which gave me a deeper understanding of altitude sickness.
The next day, I went to Namco, and I didn't know that Namco was a Tibetan lake until I arrived at my destination. There are many tourists and the sun is more poisonous, but Namco is particularly charming against the blue sky and white clouds. Sitting by the lake, the lake is pure and crystal clear, and the blue sky and white clouds and tourists are reflected in the water, which is extremely clear. We often take photos with cameras. The scenery in the photos is exactly the same as the reflection, which is very eye-catching, such as a series of ink paintings, colorful and charming. Let's play by the water, whether we are happy or not. This lake alone and the lakes here left a deep impression on us, and we were not interested in seeing other lakes. No wonder Namco is so sacred in the eyes of the people.
On the third day, we went to Linzhi by car and suddenly became cheerful, such as walking into the south of the Yangtze River. The warm current of the Indian Ocean makes it abundant in rainfall and dense in plants, just like the scenery in the south of the Yangtze River. I didn't expect this kind of scene in Tibet. It is a far cry from Lhasa. Enjoy the infinite scenery here and have a unique charm. It has naturally become a rich place in Tibet, and you can't see the sight of into the badlands in Tibet at all.
In the next few days, we went to many places, but they were all the same. There was not much difference, so naturally we were not deeply impressed. On the contrary, on all the roads, I saw the sight of many Tibetans worshipping step by step, which impressed me deeply. We are about to leave Tibet, but we are reluctant to part. On the return trip, we chose to take the Qinghai-Tibet Railway train. Because the train has to climb several high mountains, oxygen is prepared on the train. I don't know how long it took, but I suddenly reacted strongly and quickly inserted the oxygen tube into my nostrils. After about half an hour, I relaxed. As usual, I rode happily on my way home.
This trip to Tibet, going back and forth for nine days, really made me feel Tibet. The perception of the unique climate characteristics of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is an eye-opener. I felt altitude sickness, which I will never forget. I feel that Tibetan culture is concentrated in temples, and a Potala Palace is enough to appreciate the whole picture of Kunxi culture. I feel the depth of Tibetan Buddhism fooling Tibetans, and how to crack it deserves reflection. I'm really glad that you have been to Tibet once in your life. Tibet will be engraved in the depths of my memory and will make me fascinated for a long time.
