Detailed introduction of Lingshou Danshen
Lingshou Danshen has a long history of application.

According to historical records, after Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of the Han Dynasty, established political power, Tong Pi, one of the twenty-eight generals of Yuntai, was named Lingshou Hou. Tong Pi is good at fighting and proficient in medical skills. He found Salvia Miltiorrhiza (Red Roots) particularly effective, so he used Salvia Miltiorrhiza as the main medicine, together with other drugs, to treat soldiers and people, relieve pain and save lives, and also taught people to buy and sell Salvia Miltiorrhiza in exchange for rice, flour and cloth to save the people in from the mire. Later, Danshen became the top grade and was written into the book Shennong Herbal Classic compiled by the Eastern Han Dynasty. Tong Pi is also known as the King of Medicine. To show gratitude, the people of Lingshou designated March 23, when he died, as a temple fair and built a temple to offer sacrifices, and the incense has been burning ever since. According to the records of stone tablets, Tong Pi often saved people from danger when he was born, and legends often appeared after his death. In Lingshou, he used Danshen to cure all kinds of diseases for the people, and also developed an elixir with Danshen as raw material for Emperor Ming Yingzong to cure stubborn diseases. It was also named "King of Ming Tombs" and "Land of Ming Tombs".
