60-day reading and writing training camp (student number 74) "A new theory of chess endgame"
The name of "chess" can be found in ancient books such as Songs of the South, and its source has been far away for a long time. The original meaning of "elephant" is "elephant, elephant also." It means that chess was created by the ancients to simulate the war system.

1925165438+10, Shanxi Youth Chess Competition was held in Taiyuan. Jia Titao, a senior one student below 16, is the youngest among hundreds of young players. He won the championship with a clean sweep, which made him famous in North China.

Jia Titao (1909— 1995) was born in Zhaocheng, Hongdong, Shanxi. An outstanding contemporary Buddhist, the founder of China's chess theory, graduated from the Law School of Shanxi University and taught philosophy and logic in universities all over the country in 1930s and 1940s.

This book focuses on the establishment of chess theory, that is, chess endgame theory. Compared with most technical pieces of works such as Yi Qing Ya Qu and The Secret of Oranges, New Theory of Chess takes a new direction and redefines the pieces in theory. It can be said that this is the most important book on chess since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The three stages of chess: layout, middle game and endgame. The layout is a sequential war, mainly a policy of deploying troops in different parts, which is strategic; The middle game is to start fighting; The endgame is a tactical war with incomplete combat power. As far as the overall situation of the chess game is concerned, the strategic policy is: "the superior wins, and the inferior wins."

Of course, these theoretical players are familiar with it, but it is meaningful to combine the theory of actual combat, but the specific situation is different. For example, "one horse to capture the king" must be the result of the combination of handsome (general) occupying the center line and single horse pressing the forbidden point.

So how do you get rid of this chaos? This is a problem that we have to face.

In the first part of this book (chapters 1 to 3), the author puts forward a core concept of the endgame-"shape".

Generally speaking, the "shape" in the endgame is based on the remaining combat forces of both sides or one side: cars, horses, guns, soldiers, including handsome (generals), around the remaining qualitative shape of division and phase.

For the problem of "shape", the book expounds the concrete application of a series of strategies and tactics such as judging shape, forming shape, expanding shape, tamping shape and limiting shape.

At the beginning of the fourth chapter of the second part of this book, the author pushes the official position to improve the fighting capacity of the endgame, and puts forward the routine of using the official position to resist the head gun during the Cold War.

After reading this book, I have three experiences.

First, playing chess requires a solid foundation. I have been in contact with chess since I was a teenager. Although obsessed with the Chu River Han boundary, but the level has never improved. I've studied a Golden Shield version of chess for more than half a year, and finally I'm getting started. I also understand that there is no shortcut to improve chess. I only insist on basic training, and I usually experience it when I play chess.

Second, the strategy of keeping a low profile and taking peace as the most important. Chess is the art of simulating war. We usually read so many ancient books, all of which are killing skills. Although it can improve the combat effectiveness of on-the-spot chess, there is no theoretical guidance, and this book has gradually made me understand that the strategy outside the middle game is a kind of chess theory.

Third, master it skillfully and make steady progress. If you have played chess for three or five years, mastered the basic killing method and the basic endgame, and feel that you have enough energy to study at this stage, I recommend this book by Jia Titao as an advanced textbook for the next stage. By the way, this book is not for ordinary people. Just like the way of kung fu, you should practice your bones and muscles first, and then your mind, in order to achieve perfection.

Many people like to play chess and watch games, which seems to appear in the scene of iron horse fighting. The heroism in their hearts.

Chess is an art. If you only pay attention to skills and play chess for the sake of playing chess, you will often fail. Looking at chess theory is actually to cultivate one's morality and cultivate one's sentiment, and the realm of chess is to achieve the realm of harmony between man and nature when two people meditate on chess.
