Folklore: it is inevitable to raise evil spirits.
According to ancient legend, since the Jin Dynasty, people began to study methods of cultivation and suppression of victory (also known as aversion to victory), both of which originated from witchcraft and were extremely mysterious. They are often used to hurt people, so they are classified as witchcraft.

(1) In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, there was a monk named Tan You who wandered around.

At that time, a family in Shangjun (near Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province) opened a small hotel to provide drinks, meals and accommodation for passing businessmen.

In fact, they are secretly engaged in breeding methods. As long as they are passers-by with a lot of gold and silver, the family will prepare meals and wine for them. (Some say it's for money, and some say that bugs need to board people regularly, otherwise it will bring disaster to the host's family. )

And these businessmen will soon bleed to death after eating food or drinking water.

Because the method is secret, no one can find it out.

Until this day, Tan You passed by here.

The owner of that family saw that he was a lonely monk and said that he would give him alms and fast food.

When a big bowl of rice and side dishes were served, the host invited him to enjoy them together.

Tan You closed his eyes, folded his hands and began to chant. After a while, he saw a big black and red centipede more than a foot long crawling out of rice and plates.

Tan saluted his host again and left without eating. What happened to his master? No one knows, but since then, merchants who have not passed by have died inexplicably.

(2) There was a big family named Liao in Xing County (now Henan) in Han Dynasty.

There are more than 100 people in the family, full of children and grandchildren, and the population is prosperous. According to the local people, Liao Jia began to engage in breeding methods before the fifth and sixth generations. It is no exaggeration to describe his wealth, but no one can tell how their gold and silver accumulated.

Later, Liao Jiaxin married his wife and only entered the house for a few days. Because the raising method is too mysterious, the family has never told her about the raising method, and she is worried that she is afraid.

Unexpectedly, all the family members had something to do on this day, and only this new wife was at home.

She walked around the house only to find a strange jar painted with bright red paint in the backyard!

She opened the lid curiously and looked at it. This expression is terrible!

It turned out to be a big snake the size of a sea bowl.

The snake was covered with gold and crimson stripes, and its scales sparkled as if it were asleep.

The new wife summoned up her courage, went to the kitchen to boil a large pot of boiling water, poured it all into the jar, and then pressed the jar with stones, still killing the snake.

When Liao's family came back in the evening, the new wife told her about killing the serpent.

At that time, the whole family was shocked, but it was too late to regret it. They all frowned as if their time was coming.

Sure enough, within a few months, more than 100 people in their family got sick and died suddenly, and almost all of them died in the end!
