Following the introduction of the entry-level digital SLR camera EOS 300D in 2003, Canon introduced the invincible product EOS- 1DS Mark II in September 2004, which uses a 36*24mm COMS sensor with a pixel as high as16 million. Powershot series is a series with the largest number of Canon digital cameras, which is divided into four series: A, S, G and P according to the different needs of users.
1: A series is mainly for home users, and most of them are entry-level products. Among the five products of A75, A3 10, A85, A95 and A400 released in 2004, there are three products with 3 million pixels, namely A75, A3 10 and A400. A series A75/A85/A95 has inherited the full manual function since A30/A40, and its price is low, which meets the needs of some photographers with limited consumption power. According to statistics, A95 ranks first among all digital camera products that consumers are most concerned about.
2-3: S series and G series are mainly aimed at middle and high-end users, and their performance and pixel index are higher than that of A series. The mainstream products are all over 5 million pixels, of which S70 and G6 both reach 7 million pixels. Among them, Poweshot S 1 IS series has the function of telephoto image stabilizer, which meets the needs of some telephoto enthusiasts and the price is higher than that of similar products of other brands.
4: Pro series is a new series launched by Canon in 2004, and its target consumers are senior photographers and professionals. PowerShot Pro 1 is the first product of Canon to use aspherical lens, fluorite, ultra-low dispersion glass and hyperspectral coating on digital cameras. It is Canon's flagship product except EOS series at present, and its 2/38 megapixel CCD has the highest resolution of 3264*2448.
