Ilex kudingcha leaves are thick leathery, alternating spirally, 8-25 cm long and 4.5-8.5 cm wide, with sharp teeth on the edge and no fluff on both sides. Leaf blade is oval, not shriveled, and some are slightly curled, with yellow-green or gray-green at the top and yellow-green at the bottom.

Amber leaves are about 15 cm long and 5 cm wide, and they are obovate-lanceolate or linear-lanceolate. Lobes are triangular, entire or denticulate, with slightly blunt or sharp leaves at the top and gradually narrowed into petioles at the bottom.

Second, the difference between flowers

Bitter camellia is dioecious, or unisexual and bisexual flowers coexist, with white or yellow flowers.

Small flower head, about 3.5 cm in diameter, bright yellow tongue-shaped flowers with red stripes at the top.
