At present, in order to solve the traffic congestion problem in the central city and solve the problem of citizens' travel, Huizhou City has decided to build the East Extension Project of Dongjiang Second Road. Located in the core area of Jiangbei, Huicheng District, it starts from the road under Dongjiang Bridge and ends at Qihutang Road. The newly-built road is about 1 100 meters long, with a planned width of 29 meters and six lanes in both directions. Road grade refers to the technical standard of urban branch roads. The design speed is 40 kilometers per hour, and the roadway adopts asphalt concrete pavement.

Two-way six-lane means that there are six lanes for cars to drive continuously on a road, in which every three lanes are arranged in the same direction. According to the national standard, each lane is 3.5 meters wide, and generally two-way six lanes are 24 meters wide.
